DESCRIPTION:Effective rope handling can make the difference between a good and a fantastic rope scene. There are two ways of looking at efficiency when tying\, one with relation to time and one with relation to control. \nIn this two part class series\, we will be working on ways to handle ropes and bodies in ways that allow for the person tying being and staying in control of the ropes during all kinds of different situations\, be it free form ties\, close floor work sessions\, or structured suspensions. \n\n\n\nWhat We Will Cover\n\n\n\n\n“Don’t break your knuckles” – Rope handling basics for every level\n\n\n\n“Tying as movement” – translating frictions and wraps into a movement of the other\n\n\n\n“Sabaku” – A movement that is beautiful because it’s efficient.\n\n\n\n“Attention is more important than tension” – How to show the person in ropes that it’s about them and not the tie.\n\n\n\n“About not tying the air” – Suspensionline management that doesn’t leave the person in ropes alone.\n\n\n\nAnd more…
