This gathering prioritizes comfort\, accessibility\, and unmasking\, with an emphasis on sharing knowledge\, building confidence\, and unlearning the ways mainstream rope spaces often exclude or overlook us. \nWhat will happen?\nThe Fat Rope Hang is not a class or performance space. It’s a facilitated hang where you’re welcome to: \n\nTie or be tied at your own pace\nShare frustrations\, wins\, and questions about navigating rope as a fat person\nExperiment\, rest\, watch\, talk\, or simply exist in community\nCelebrate adaptations\, creativity\, and what works for your body\n\nAll skill levels are welcome. You do not need to arrive with a partner\, a plan\, or a specific goal. Consent\, communication\, and care (for yourself and others) are core values of this space.
