DESCRIPTION:Power can be elusive—shifting\, relational\, and often misunderstood. Where does power begin and end? Who holds it\, and how does it move between us? And how do we distinguish between power over and power within? \nThis workshop invites you into an open\, exploratory space to question\, unpack\, and reimagine your relationship to power\, dominance\, and desire. Together\, we’ll explore what it means to embody power consciously and consensually\, and how play can become a pathway for self-discovery and connection. \nThrough guided reflection\, discussion\, and optional experiential exercises\, Caritia supports participants in discovering their “inner dominant” (however that may look for you)\, while emphasizing choice\, agency\, and mutual respect. \nThis is not about fitting into predefined roles—it’s about expanding your understanding of what power can feel like in your body\, your relationships\, and your imagination. \nWhat we’ll explore together:\n\nDifferent understandings of power: internal vs relational\, structural vs personal\nThe distinction between domination\, control\, and empowerment\nHow beliefs\, past experiences\, and social conditioning shape your relationship to power\nWhat it might mean to step into (or resist) a dominant role in a conscious\, intentional way\nThe role of play\, imagination\, and desire in exploring power dynamics\nHow to engage with power while honouring boundaries—your own and others’
