DESCRIPTION:This 2-hour in-person workshop offers a foundational overview of pain and punishment within kink. It is a theoretical\, lecture- and conversation-based class focused on concepts\, language\, and frameworks rather than physical practice. \nJoin sex therapist Ceci Ferox for a clear introduction to how pain and punishment are commonly used and understood in kink contexts. We’ll cover core definitions\, why people are into these practices\, how they’re related to other parts of BDSM\, and look at the roles of consent\, power\, and intention. The emphasis is on building shared understanding and giving you practical language for reflecting on and talking about these dynamics. \nThere will be no demonstrations\, physical exercises\, or role play.
