SUMMARY:Flogging as a Ritual
DESCRIPTION:Flogging as a kink practice can be approached in many ways. One of the most powerful ones is flogging as a ritual of release and renewal. \nIn this session\, Caritia invites you to join us for a flogging ritual. Together\, we will prepare the ritual\, its intentions\, and desires. We will hold space for each other and ultimately flog and get flogged together in an intentional\, caring\, and powerful collective way. We will hold one another to tip over our edges into territories of release\, honouring ourselves\, our bodies\, and this practice that is thousands of years old. \nWhat We Will Explore\n\nArrival and introduction – Participants’ arrival and opening circle\, participants share as much or as little as fits for them.\nBoundaries and negotiation time will be given to ensure folks have thought about what their needs are.\nIntention setting is purposeful\, allowing space for change and adjustment.\nCare planning is a vital part of the planning and process\, to allow each person to receive an umbrella of care.\nWarm-up session to prepare our bodies and minds.\nGuided Ritual – there will be a tempo set\, allowing the space to be one of a collective nature.\nFeedback & close – Time for calming down\, grounding and snacks\, before leaving the space.
