DESCRIPTION:  \nIT’S ROPE JAM TIME! \nRope Jams are spaces to meet people who love to tie or be tied (or both) and/or bring your tying partner(s) to have a wonderful session together in a space with like-minded people. \nAll roles\, levels\, styles\, etc. are welcome. \nIn the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights and music and make it cozy. \n  \nWhat’s the space like? \na kitchen and hang-out area \n2 mezzanines for private tying \none large room with suspension points\, hashiras\, bamboo and rings provided. \nIn the summer: the silent garden (you can tie in the garden in the summer breeze but we keep noise levels low in this area. \n  \nHow it works \nThe door opens at 7:00 pm and stays open until 9:00 pm (sharp). \nYou will need to purchase a ticket upfront as space is limited.  \nAt 7:30 pm we will give an introduction to people who are new to the space and/or new to the jam (format). \nYou can then choose your space to tie (we offer bamboo\, ring\, and spaces for floorwork). DESCRIPTION:  \nIT’S ROPE JAM TIME! \nRope Jams are spaces to meet people who love to tie or be tied (or both) and/or bring your tying partner(s) to have a wonderful session together in a space with like-minded people. \nAll roles\, levels\, styles\, etc. are welcome. \nIn the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights and music and make it cozy. \n  \nWhat’s the space like? \na kitchen and hang-out area \n2 mezzanines for private tying \none large room with suspension points\, hashiras\, bamboo and rings provided. \nIn the summer: the silent garden (you can tie in the garden in the summer breeze but we keep noise levels low in this area. \n  \nHow it works \nThe door opens at 7:00 pm and stays open until 9:00 pm (sharp). \nYou will need to purchase a ticket upfront as space is limited.  \nAt 7:30 pm we will give an introduction to people who are new to the space and/or new to the jam (format). \nYou can then choose your space to tie (we offer bamboo\, ring\, and spaces for floorwork). DESCRIPTION:We are opening our new and wonderful house and garden for the afternoon so you can come by\, relax and calm down amongst other queer people. There will be hammocks and little areas for cuddling and enjoying touch. Get or gives massages. Touch grass (literally and metaphorically). Or hang out in the kitchen with us and just chat. We will be baking a bunch of cakes and there will be coffee\, tea\, snacks\, etc. to nourish your bodies and souls. \nLight and slow kink interactions are welcome. So is nudity. Anything that allows you to come back in a soft and nice way. \nWhat does SLOW mean? It means calming things down\, doing them slowly and intentionally\, with consent and good boundaries in place. It means being in community with intention\, not just intensity. It means playing in a space that is semi-private with people to watch and people watching you. It means enjoying the energy of others being in the same space and seeking flow with each other across the room. \nWe are open and happy about what you bring as long you do not dominate the entire room with the noise\, space you need\, or vibe. SUMMARY:Inventing Suspension Harnesses
DESCRIPTION:You have solid floor tying and at least beginner suspension skills. You want to understand more about what’s important when building suspendable harnesses. \nThis workshop will give you tools for inventing and building your own suspendable harnesses that fit the person you are tying and your own personal tying style. You will bet both technical and creative skills. \nWe will dive deep into understanding the basic frictions used for harnesses (munter hitch variations\, X-friction\, L-friction\, half-moon) and suspension lines (munter hitch\, flag friction\, half hitch\, yuki knot\, slip knot). We will also learn about rope tension and placement for suspension of different kinds of bodies. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  January 27th\, 2024\, 1 pm – 6 pm \nFormat: workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: \n· Solid understanding of the fundamentals for floor-based tying (single and double column ties\, ladder\, half hitch\, munter hitch). \n· Understanding of own and partner’s limits and capability to make informed\, negotiated decisions. \n· No physical requirements for participants. \n· Exercises are done in pairs\, please find a partner in advance. There will not be possibilities for switching during exercises\, but there’s content that both can practice at the same time. \nWhat to bring:  3-5 ropes\, blanket\, safety equipment \nSolo or Partnered:  partnered\, price is PER PAIR \n  \nWhat we will teach/do \n· Frictions for suspendable harnesses\n· Frictions for suspension lines\n· Tension and rope placement\n· Creativity exercises\n· Suspension safety \n  \nSafety Concept & Regulation \nPlease consult our safety concept and regulations for this event here. \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe workshop is held in spoken English. German can also be provided. The space\, KARA\, is on the ground floor but has three steps to enter the house. A ramp for wheelchairs is available at all times. There is also a parking space available right in front of the door if needed. KARA has an accessible bathroom available. There are no thresholds in the entire house. The garden is only partially accessible at the moment. During the workshop\, we will sit on the floor. Sitting in a chair can also be provided. Adaptations for physical needs will be shown and can also be provided upon request. SUMMARY:Pyjama Party
DESCRIPTION:Home alone and we are hosting a pyjama party. And you\, little queerdo\, are invited to join! \nSo pack your pyjama and all the cool toys and snacks and maybe a friend or three and join us. \n  \nThings that might happen: \n– blanket forts\n– pillow fights\n– cuddling\n– movie night\n– maybe some accidental porn watching (if we find Dad’s stash)\n– spin the bottle\n– what are you doing fumbling around underneath the blanket with that other queerdo and why are they moaning? \n  \nThere will be snacks and pizzas and stuff all night and we will have breakfast for the sleep-over queerdos in the morning (9.30 am because we need to hurry before our parents come back home) \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time: January 26th\, 2024\, 8 pm – the next morning \nFormat: pyjama party \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level:  your need to know how to wear a pyjama and be awkward \nWhat to Bring: pyjama\, snacks\, toys\, anything really \nSolo or Partnered:  all constellations welcome but this is a solo journey \nTicket: Price is per person \n  \nHow it works \nThe door opens at 8:00 pm and stays open until 8:30 pm (sharp). \nYou will need to purchase a ticket upfront as space is limited.  \nAt 8:30 pm we will all get to know each other a bit better. \nYou can then choose your space and mode (talk\, cuddle\, sleep\, eat cake\, light play) and enjoy yourselves. \n  \nWhat else to know \nThis pyjama party is aimed at LGBTQIA+ audiences. \nThis space is a sober space.
