The intention is for both the rigger and model to be consciously exploring suffering through rope\, however\, what can make it difficult to grasp is whether or not the suffering should feel pleasurable. Semenawa is a state of mind rather than a style. hua hua will share how we can identify this state of mind through positions\, timing\, rope handling\, and communication. The workshop will end with a demonstration of Semenawa play with space for feedback and questions afterward. \nPart 2: (July 16th\, 2024\, 7 pm-9.30 pm) \nIn the second class of this series\, we will be focusing on the practice of patience and endurance in creating a Semenawa experience.
