SUMMARY:Radical Anger
DESCRIPTION:Let’s take it from Maya Angelou. \nLet’s find transformational energies for transformative times. \nThe present-day and historical views that society has on anger are not ones Caritia feels are in anyone’s best interest\, and a number of scholars and psychologists agree. \nThere are rarely spaces or places where anger can be freely and openly expressed\, and there is no room to speak about anger. Caritia invites participants to join in this intentionally held container to speak on and offer guided practices to get to know and understand their own anger\, where it comes from\, and how they can find ways to embrace this poorly understood and complex sensation. \nCaritia will share from personal experiences and offer tools\, care and practical methods to encourage you to explore yourself and your needs with more intention. \nThis class offers \n\nSpace to discover understanding about anger\nIdentifying what boundaries there are\, how they came to be and bringing light to them\ntapping into the emotional body\nShared space for perspectives of shadows – for self and group reflection\nSound as a resource for reaching emotions\nCare\, intention setting and space holding for anger\n\nThis class is for\n\nAnyone seeking to (re)discover their anger\nFolks holding shame\, blockages or numbing to their anger\nFolks curious about supportive tools for processing anger from a de-colonial and neurodiverse inclusive lens\nThis event is for LGBTQIA+ & Friends

SUMMARY:Liminal Kink - Transition and Transformation
DESCRIPTION:liminal | ˈlɪmɪnl |adjective technical \n\n occupying a position at\, or on both sides of\, a boundary or threshold\nrelating to a transitional or initial stage of a process\n\nKink and the practices of BDSM have always stood at the edges of society\, forming it’s own ways of being and doing. Kink sits at the edge of desire and fear\, inspiration and seclusion\, a space for the other. What happens when we use that in-between to explore the edges and outer limits of our bodies and being? At this time of the year the shift of season is clearly under way the Northern Hemisphere is plunging it to it’s darkness – at the edge of sleep. Embracing the transition (death)  and what desires to be released. \nCaritia invites participants to play their edges\, exploring the boundaries of the physical and psychological\, to unleash play that has not yet had the opportunity to be explored. \nThis class offers \n\nSpace to discover\nIdentifying what boundaries there are\, how they are both bringing more possibilities  and restricting\nDiscussion on what edges exist and why\nShared space for perspectives of shadows – for self and group reflection\nPlay as a resource for reaching the edges of different kinds\nCare\, intention setting and space holding for edge play\n\nThis class is for\n\nAnyone seeking to (re)discover their different aspect of themselves or the kink they love\nFolks holding space for the unknown and the unexpected\nFolks curious about supportive tools for processing endings and moving towards new beginnings.\nThis event is for LGBTQIA+ & Wômen

SUMMARY:Trauma Basics for Facilitators in Sexuality and Kink Spaces
DESCRIPTION:When facilitating adult groups on topics related to sexuality and kink\, with a focus on practical experimentation and action\, we often bring our whole selves to the table. Our experiences\, our ability to regulate ourselves\, our interest and passion for sexuality and kink topics. When the focus is on fun\, experimentation and experience\, we often have a curious and eager group in front of us. The adults in front of us also bring their entire history and embodied biography with them. The more they are part of a minority\, the more minority stress and often bad experiences\, discrimination and distrust they bring with them. When it comes to sexuality\, we can assume that there is always at least one person in the group who has experienced sexualised violence. Many people have had experiences in their lives that have the potential to cause trauma. None of our various offerings are trauma therapy\, but rather educational offerings. \nAlexander Hahne\, gay trans man\, trainer and speaker for trans-specific topics in the field of sexual health\, sex educator\, somatic counselor\, sexuality focussed bodyworker\, systemic sex therapist\, dancer and pleasure activist. Leader of workshops and individual counselling on the topics of body awareness\, intimacy and sexuality. He works in the field of sexuality for about 20 years with almost 15 years of facilitation in pleasure and kink spaces. With his work he directly support them in their own experience of the body as well as the possibility of uncovering and using access to their own pleasurable potential. \nWhat happens in the workshop?\n\nInput on embodiment\, trauma basics\, nervous system regulation in educational settings\nBrief insight into trauma-related disorders\nSimilarities\, differences\, boundaries and limitations of trauma therapy work and educational\, exploratory settings\nTheoretical input and practical exercises on up- and down-regulation of the nervous system in educational settings\nIn-depth exploration of your somatic markers and practising self-regulation\nInsights into group dynamics and minority stress when working with queer people\, for example\nReflection on methods and personal guidance in small groups\, followed by evaluation

SUMMARY:BIPOC Utopias - Negotiation & Boundary Setting
DESCRIPTION:This is a monthly separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on how to encourage and inspire more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering for BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice\, and support one another through a community actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nThis month’s topic\nThis month\, we will offer space to discuss negotiation and boundaries. What is challenging for you in upholding your boundaries? What information do you feel is m? And how does this connect for you in a kink as well as broader context?

SUMMARY:Kink is Political - Resistance
DESCRIPTION:Topic this month: Resistance \nAbout this series\nKink is Political is an online discussion with Addie Tahl\, Georg Barkas\, Andrea Rimon\, and occasional special guests. Participants are invited to join a discussion during which we unite critique with an emphasis on the practical and day-to-day issues and challenges of kink\, intimacy\, and relationships. \nFocusing on concepts central to BDSM\, leather\, rope\, and sex-positive communities\, it interrogates widely adopted approaches and commonly held notions. It aims to understand the politics of kink beyond the language of sexual liberation and politics of sexual liberalism\, both frames that have proven insufficient in addressing widespread harm\, a rising international tide of sex-negativity and reaction\, or in guaranteeing that the most marginalized can sexually flourish. \nKink is Political is an examination of the contexts and consequences of how we talk about and understand gender and sexuality. It is a forum to think about how kink spaces and practices operate\, what works\, what doesn’t\, and what we can use to build something better.

SUMMARY:Rope Hangout: Knots
DESCRIPTION:A rope hangout is a welcoming\, peer-to-peer space where we research rope together\, connect\, and explore in a relaxed\, pressure-free atmosphere\, no matter your experience level. All forms of rope bondage (Japanese inspired shibari/kinbaku\, western style bondage\, decorative macrame…) are warmly invited. \nWhether you feel like tying or simply being present\, you’re welcome here. Enjoy non-alcoholic drinks\, snacks\, and easy conversation — sometimes just showing up is enough. There’s no pressure to perform\, teach\, or know anything in advance. Curiosity and your (imaginary) lab coat is all you need to bring. \nThis month’s special focus: Knots\nFinally\, a space to let your nerd flag fly. Share your favorite knot\, learn a new one\, get sucked into out Ashley Book of Knots\, or just tie yourself in knots. \nThe theme is an open invitation rather than a guideline. You’re always encouraged to follow your own interests\, bring questions\, share experiences\, or simply observe and take it all in. The space is shaped by what each person brings into it. \nNote: This is not a rope jam/play space. Rope Hangout is a peer learning environment.

SUMMARY:Communicating with Ropes
DESCRIPTION:We can’t not communicate. But what does it mean to communicate? What do we communicate? What do we hide? And how does all of this work when we tie with each other. Communicating in ropes is not a soft skill but is inherently integrated in the practice itself. The question remains: How can we make that communication more deliberate and intentional? In this class we will connect the rope techniques\, from simple hitches and frictions to complex suspensions\, with what they can communicate and how. \nNovember 11th\, 7-10pm CET:Part I:\nWhat is communication and how can we understand it in the context of Shibari? “Talking” and “Listening” in ropes and on ropes. \nNovember 18th\, 7-10pm CET:Part II:\nPart II: The problem of interpretation. Will we ever know what you meant when twitching your toes? \nNovember 25th\, 7-10pm CET:Part III:\nPart III: Storytelling and scene building with intentional communication.

SUMMARY:Ouch² - Advanced Impact Play
DESCRIPTION:This class covers all the things that the usual introduction to impact play classes cannot. \nMamana will take you on a ride down the rabbit hole of why people do impact play\, what the reasons are to give or receive pain\, and how to tweak and work with the different reasons and kinds of pain we play with. \nThey will also dive deeper into uttering and processing sensations in impact play\, and how intentions\, consent\, and setup have a huge impact (pun intended) on everyone’s mindset. \nWe will also discuss and demonstrate advanced forms of impact\, i.e. face slapping\, kicking\, and punching as well as genital impact play.

SUMMARY:Rope Fundamentals Weekend: Foundations & Fun
DESCRIPTION:This is the Saturday single ticket event. For buying a full weekend ticket\, go to the weekend event. \nSaturday gives you the tools that make shibari fun — or intense\, or meditative\, or horny\, or whatever flavor of rope you want to create. Ceci will get you started with the most essential techniques: the lark’s head\, the single column tie\, clean wrapping\, managing tension\, and staying safe. Once those basics are in place\, we spend the rest of the day putting them to use in playful\, intuitive ways. \nWe’ll explore freestyle tying and improvisation to loosen the pressure of “doing it right.” Through one-rope exercises\, wrapping\, unwrapping\, and re-wrapping bodies\, you’ll learn to follow curiosity instead of memorizing patterns. Because rope isn’t static — people move — we’ll also practice guiding and responding to movement through levers\, spirals\, and simple transitions like sitting to standing or shifting limbs mid-tie. \nAlong the way\, we dive into the emotional and psychological effects of rope: how body positions\, pacing\, tension\, and proximity can shift headspace and shape intention. With just a few simple ties\, you’ll learn to create sessions that feel impactful\, intimate\, and expressive. \nTake Aways: \n\nLarkshead & single column tie\nRope safety\nOne rope tying\, wrapping & unwrapping\nPlaying with different intentions and moods\nMoving bodies & tying in movement

SUMMARY:Rope Fundamentals: Shibari Starter Kit Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Kick off your rope journey with a weekend that bundles our entire Rope Fundamentals series into one playful\, beginner-friendly shibari workshop. \nAcross two days\, you’ll move from the simplest building blocks to a clear understanding of how harnesses work. Whether you’re brand new\, brushing off old skills\, or craving a solid base before exploring deeper techniques\, this weekend is designed to set you up with confidence\, creativity\, and connection. \nYou can bring someone to tie with or come solo and find a partner at the workshop. \nJoin us for the full journey\, or pick the day that suits you best: \nGet Your Saturday (Foundations & Fun)\, only ticket here.\nGet your Sunday (Nerdery & Harnesses)\, only ticket here. \nFoundations & Fun\nSaturday gives you the tools that make shibari fun — or intense\, or meditative\, or horny\, or whatever flavor of rope you want to create. \nTake Aways:\n\nLarkshead & single column tie\nRope safety\nOne rope tying\, wrapping & unwrapping\nPlaying with different intentions and moods\nMoving bodies & tying in movement\n\nNerdery & Harnesses\nSunday is for the rope nerds (or for anyone ready to become one). Today we dive into the mechanics behind stable\, comfortable\, body-friendly tying. We’ll explore how to apply rope with intention\, how to create structures that fit real bodies\, and how to make your tying smoother\, safer\, and more efficient. \nYou’ll learn counter tensions\, ladder structures\, your first frictions\, and how to wrap with flow and consistency. These building blocks are what allow harnesses to hold their shape. We’ll also cover ergonomics and hand techniques\, like hooking and pulling rope\, so you can tie for longer without soreness or strain. \nWith these tools in place\, we’ll begin tying simple harnesses and\, more importantly\, understanding why they work. You’ll get a clear picture of the core components (anchors\, stems\, wraps\, frictions\, and cinches) and start recognizing the logic behind shibari structures. This modular thinking becomes the foundation for everything that comes after. \nTake Aways:\n\nDouble column tie\nRope handling & ergonomics\nTension\, counter tension & ladders\nIntro to harnesses: anchors\, stems\, wraps\, frictions\, cinches\nFrictions: Half hitch\, full stop\, munter hitch\, in-line single column tie\nOne rope harnesses: chest harness\, futomomo\, box tie

SUMMARY:Short Bamboo Restraint Systems
DESCRIPTION:Short bamboo rods can transform the structure\, intensity\, and spatial dynamics of grounded rope restraint. Compact and responsive\, they can act as extensions of the hands\, rigid anchors\, levers\, or frameworks through which pressure and movement are\ndirected.\nIn this three-hour intermediate workshop\, Mosaic Cat & Sia will explore ways of combining short bamboo rods with rope to create systems for limb fixation\, leverage\, controlled compression\, breath-aware restraint\, and dynamic positioning—all without using suspension.\n\nRather than treating bamboo as a decorative addition\, the class approaches it as a structural tool. We will examine how its rigidity changes the distribution of tension\, how small adjustments can produce significant changes in posture and sensation\, and how bamboo can create restraint that is compact\, adaptable\, and visually expressive. The focus will be on principles and modular structures that participants can adapt to\n\ndifferent bodies and scenes\, rather than on reproducing a single fixed pattern. \nThe workshop will include demonstrations\, guided practice\, time for experimentation\, and opportunities to ask questions. \n\nWhat We Will Cover\n\n Selecting\, preparing\, and safely handling short bamboo rods\nUnderstanding how rigid materials interact with soft tissue\, joints\, nerves\, and circulation\nHow to secure limbs to bamboo\nCreating compact limb-folding and compression structures\nUsing bamboo to connect or separate different limbs\nApplying leverage to influence posture and restrict movement\nGrounded restraint positions for kneeling\, seated\, curled\, and forward-folded bodies\nBreath-aware compression and the distinction between controlling posture and dangerously restricting breathing\n\nSafety Note\nRigid bamboo can concentrate force more intensely than rope alone. Techniques involving the neck\, chest\, joints\, leverage\, or compression require particular care and continuous communication. Breath-related material in this workshop focuses on awareness\, posture\, pacing\, and\nconsensual modulation of breathing sensations. It is not intended to teach airway obstruction or uncontrolled restriction of breathing.\nParticipants are encouraged to work slowly\, stay within their existing level of experience\, adapt all exercises to the needs of the person being tied\, and stop immediately if there is numbness\, tingling\, loss of function\, unusual pain\, breathing difficulty\, panic\, or other signs of distress.

SUMMARY:Rope for Nerds: Modular Thinking & Frictions
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Rope for Nerds — the workshop series for rope brains who want to really understand what’s going on under the hood. In this first part\, we will focus on modular thinking and frictions in constructing shibari ties. \nEver wondered why certain ties just work—while others fall apart or feel awkward? Or how some learn patters as if by magic while others struggle with memorizing? This online workshop is your gateway to understanding the underlying building blocks that make your tying both secure and flowing. \nWhat we cover\nApproximately 90% of shibari patterns are based on the same foundational structures. In this lesson\, Ceci will demystify those core components and give you practical tools for understanding\, recreating\, and creating patterns. You’ll identify and use the modular elements that make up most ties\, gaining the ability to learn\, improvise\, and adapt with confidence. \nWe’ll also go to an even more micro level\, focusing on frictions—the key to stability and different aesthetics in rope. You’ll learn how half hitches and munter hitches function\, and how they can support both freestyle floor play and tying structured harnesses. Then we’ll go deeper\, exploring structural frictions like X frictions\, L frictions\, and half-moon frictions\, used in ties like chest harnesses and leg bindings. \nThroughout\, Ceci will emphasize why these elements work—not just how—giving you the theory and tactile understanding needed to move beyond memorizing patterns. \nIdeal for\n\nTechnically-minded riggers\, bottoms\, and switches\nThe nerdiest of the nerds\nBeginners\, the people who think they already know it all\, and the people who got over that phase and know they still have years to learn\nAnyone who loves diagrams\, efficiency\, or the phrase “root cause analysis”

SUMMARY:The Care Portal
DESCRIPTION:So often\, entering a kink space means stepping into the unknown. New desires\, new dynamics\, and new ways of relating can be both exhilarating and vulnerable. How do we create frameworks that allow desire to expand while remaining intentional\, attentive\, and deeply caring? \nIn this workshop\, Caritia invites participants to explore care as a creative and practical practice within kink—and as something that can ripple into everyday life. Together we will examine how care can be actively curated through communication\, boundaries\, consent\, curiosity\, accountability\, and play. \nThrough guided discussion and practical exercises\, participants will develop tools for recognising and expressing care in ways that feel authentic to themselves and their play cohorts. Whether you are new to kink or have years of experience\, this workshop offers space to reflect on how care can deepen trust\, invite more expansive pleasure\, and create relationships that are both resilient and delightfully playful. \nThis class offers\n\npractical frameworks for navigating kink with greater confidence and intention\,\na renewed understanding of care as something that can hold both tenderness and whimsy.\nideas about care that feel more tangible and practical\nWays to communicate your wishes and needs\n\nThis class is for\n\nAnyone seeking to (re)discover their different aspect of themselves or the kink they love\nFolks holding space for the unknown and the unexpected\nFolks curious about supportive tools for processing endings and moving towards new beginnings.\nThis event is for LGBTQIA+ & Friends

SUMMARY:Edge & Play: Erotic Rope Exploration
DESCRIPTION:How can ropes awaken desire\, tension\, and playful challenge? \nThe gag\, the hair pulled back\, the rope that tightens when you move. This class explores the erotic\, teasing\, mischievous side of rope. We’ll play with the elements that heighten sensation and shift the charge between two people — gagging\, hair restraint\, crotch ropes\, predicaments — always inside a frame of consent and communication. A few exercises to try things out\, then time to play with whatever you want to take further. \nWe Will Explore:\n\nErotic tension — how it builds in the space before\, between\, and around the ties\nTeasing and predicaments: rope that provokes\, restricts\, invites a reaction\nGagging\, hair restraint\, crotch ropes and how to use it with intention\nConsent inside the frame — checking in as part of the play\, not a break from it\n\nWho this class is for:\n\nAnyone who desires to bring more heat into their rope\nPeople looking for new ideas they can keep using at home\nNerds who love the details of how sensation and tension actually work\n\n  \nPhotocredits: IV Bogota Shibari Week and Charles Ilcoatl

SUMMARY:Cuddles\, Cakes and Kinks
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Cuddles\, Cakes and Kinks\, your monthly aftercare event to take a break from cisheteropatriarchy\, capitalism\, the burning world\, or life in general. We’re here to rest so we can resist\, to play as an antidote to pressure\, and to let the people eat cake. Queer people\, welcome! \nWe are opening our wonderful house for the evening so you can come by\, relax\, and calm down amongst other queer people. There will be hammocks and little areas for cuddling and enjoying touch. Get or give massages. Do some soft\, slow kink. Or hang out in the kitchen with us and just chat. We will be baking a bunch of cakes and there will be coffee\, tea\, and snacks to nourish your bodies and souls. \nLight and slow kink interactions are welcome. Anything that allows you to come back to yourself and into connection with others in a soft and nice way. This is not a play party or sex club\, but a playful community event. The vibe is cozy\, and we don’t do genital play. \nThere is a separate cuddle room that is completely free from any kind of play\, horny vibes\, and nudity. It’s for cuddles\, naps\, quiet conversation\, maybe reading a book. \n\n
