There will be hammocks and little areas for cuddling and enjoying touch. Get or give massages. Do some soft\, slow kink. Or hang out in the kitchen with us and just chat. We will be baking a bunch of cakes and there will be coffee\, tea\, and snacks to nourish your bodies and souls. \nLight and slow kink interactions are welcome. Anything that allows you to come back to yourself and into connection with others in a soft and nice way. This is not a play party or sex club\, but a playful community event. The vibe is cozy\, and we don’t do genital play. \nThere is a separate cuddle room that is completely free from any kind of play\, horny vibes\, and nudity. We’ll explore how resentment\, misaligned expectations\, communication breakdowns\, and unspoken needs show up in intimate spaces. \nYou’ll learn how to identify the actual fight you’re having (hint: it’s rarely about the surface issue)\, and how to engage conflict in a way that creates connection instead of distance\, and safety instead of resentment. We’ll work with tools for tenderness\, empathy\, and staying present in difficult conversations\, negotiation\, and boundary setting. \nJuly 30th: Part 2 – Fun\nBefore sex can work\, the relationship needs to feel alive. \nWhen everything becomes logistical\, tense\, or goal-oriented\, intimacy often follows suit. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to your Points of Contact. This is a sharps jam for you to play with or around like-minded and experienced people who are into needles\, knives\, staples\, blood or other sharp fantasies. This is a non-teaching space. Hanging out\, watching and absorbing the ambiance and practices is also welcome. There are side-rooms for meeting people and socialising outside of the intimate atmosphere of the main play-space. We welcome all bodies. There will be play-appropriate music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights to allow for a slow and gentle transition and easing out. \nNote\n\nThis event is not for first timers. You must have previous experience and confidence in the sharps play that you’re doing and how to handle things if it starts going wrong.\nIf you are not confident that you have enough experience\, do not despair! Please simply come to the Points of Entry – Fundamentals workshop earlier that afternoon\, that is event is for first timers. Then you will be skilled enough and ready to happily come to this jam.\nPlease arrive before 19:50 when we will do a quick intro round\, so everyone has lots of time to play.\n\nPlease bring your own sharps equipment and kit to play with. If you do not have a couple of these supplies\, you can dip into our supplies stock\, which is limited\, in return for a small donation to cover the cost of whatever you want to use. DESCRIPTION:Ready to willingly dip your toes into challenge\, anticipation and dilemma? This series will introduce you to two very different styles of predicaments taught by the queen of fun assholery herself: Sophia Rose. \nPart I: Playful Predicaments (September 29th\, 2026\, 7-10pm)\nPlayful predicaments are designed to keep one guessing (and choosing) in frustratingly fun ways. Using rope and other kinky tools\, simple concepts of predicament play will be explained and demonstrated along with more complex scenarios to inspire your own creativity as well as exploring predicaments that focus on pain or discomfort\, we will also look at ideas which play with exposure\, balance\, and pleasure – predicaments for different moods. \nPart II: WTF was that: (not so) playful predicaments… (October 22nd\, 2026\, 7-10pm)\nReady to take predicament play to the next level? This session moves beyond playful discomfort to explore the more bizarre\, creative\, and the downright “WTF is that?!”. We’ll explore the risks\, rewards\, and thrill of edgier predicament play\, with three demonstrations for inspiration and adaptation that utilise a suspension point and dungeon furniture. \nWhat we’ll cover:\n– Exploring and creating more intense\, edge-play predicaments (breath control/choking).\n– Demonstrations of bamboo on the body ties\, and fear/pain dynamics.\n– How to safely adapt challenging ideas to suit your skills and partners.
