DESCRIPTION:It’s queer rope jam time\, babes! Once in a while you gotta do ropey stuff amongst other queers and just enjoy yourself. No posing\, no being cool or extra good at doing ropey things needed. Come as you are\, exhale and enjoy yourselves. \nWhat is a rope jam?\nRope jams is an open space format. Part hangout\, part jamming with other like-minded people who are into rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku. Come and hang out and watch others do ropey stuff or do some yourself.  The queer rope jam is where you can bring your (rope) partner(s) or meet new people who love to tie\, be tied and/or self-tie. It is also a great space to have sessions in a safe(r) environment with people you do not know yet. \nWe welcome all styles\, all bodies\, all knowledge levels. There will be cute music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights and music and make it extra cozy.

DESCRIPTION:Not an exaggeration! If Addie could teach everyone\, regardless of level\, just one exercise it would be this one. If ropes were music this would be an etude\, an exercise that can be practiced in different ways\, with different emphases\, to develop different techniques and skills. It covers protecting finger joints\, nailing and maintaining tension\, preventing rope burn\, and body handling and movement while tying. And it results in a suspensionable harness\, if you are into that! \nPeople are welcome to switch\, come solo and find someone to tie with\, or come solo and practice on themselves. Not quite as effective but still worthwhile.

SUMMARY:Points of Contact - The Sharps Jam
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to your Points of Contact. This is a sharps jam for you to play with or around like-minded and experienced people who are into needles\, knives\, staples\, blood or other sharp fantasies. This is a non-teaching space. Hanging out\, watching and absorbing the ambiance and practices is also welcome. There are side-rooms for meeting people and socialising outside of the intimate atmosphere of the main play-space. We welcome all bodies. There will be play-appropriate music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights to allow for a slow and gentle transition and easing out. \nNote\n\nThis event is not for first timers. You must have previous experience and confidence in the sharps play that you’re doing and how to handle things if it starts going wrong.\nIf you are not confident that you have enough experience\, do not despair! Please simply come to the Points of Entry – Fundamentals workshop earlier that afternoon\, that is event is for first timers. Then you will be skilled enough and ready to happily come to this jam.\nPlease arrive before 19:50 when we will do a quick intro round\, so everyone has lots of time to play.\n\nPlease bring your own sharps equipment and kit to play with. If you do not have a couple of these supplies\, you can dip into our supplies stock\, which is limited\, in return for a small donation to cover the cost of whatever you want to use. Most things like first aid and needles can be covered by a couple of euros\, however\, separately\, staplers are €7.50 each\, staple removers are €2.50 each and knives are €5 each. Please bring cash\, or you can scan a QR code to do a bank transfer in the moment. Please also bring your own clean waterproof sheet/orgy mat to play on\, which you can lay on top of our mats. We also have back-ups for this if you don’t have one.

We explore how rhythm\, attention\, and attitude shape what the rope says — without changing a single knot.\n \nPlay & Connection\nThese classes are dedicated to the research of the interpersonal\, connective\, and fun side of shibari. Forget about rope technique for a while and learn hands-on skills for actually playing with what you know. A deeper complexity emerges\, not in knots and patterns\, but in the interpersonal and vulnerable.\n \nThis two-day intensive workshop with Murasaki Haruan offers a rare opportunity to step over that threshold.\n \nRooted in the philosophy of Yukimura-ryu\, this is not a workshop about acquiring more patterns\, more ties\, or more theatrics. Instead\, it is an invitation to deliberately return to the fundamental sequences 片足開脚（KataAshi Kaikyaku) and 獣縛りKemono)\, and to explore them with a level of attention that transforms the familiar into something more profound.\n \nAcross 12 hours of in-person teaching\, these two sequences will be examined from multiple perspectives. Through repetition\, variation\, and subtle adjustment\, participants will begin to encounter the depth that only reveals itself over time. This is a practice of refinement\, where intention replaces habit\, and nuance becomes the language. It is a challenge in patience and stepping outside your comfort zone.\n \nMurasaki’s teaching does not follow a westernized format. It draws from a distinctly Japanese approach to transmission: slow\, immersive\, and often indirect. Meaning is not always explained – it is experienced\, sensed\, and gradually understood. Like an apprentice observing a master over years\, participants are invited to engage not only with what is shown\, but with what is implied.\n \nThe weekend includes exercises\, demonstrations\, and renbaku – a format in which participants take turns tying the same model alongside the teacher – offering an intimate lens into timing\, touch\, and presence. Conversation and reflection are woven throughout\, creating space for insight to emerge organically.\n \nThis is not about learning more. We give priority to LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized groups. \nPlease not that this weekend demands specific knowledge and constellations: \nPerson tying: \n\nYou must be proficient in tying the Yukimura-ryu sequences 片足開脚（KataAshi Kaikyaku) and 獣縛りKemono) and forms (i.e. Yukimura-ryu gote\, etc.) and be able to execute them easily and well\,\nYou must be able to tie any other standard shibari forms (i.e. tengu\, futomomo\, etc) easily. The general standard of technical rope expertise for the person tying should be quite advanced.\n\nPerson being tied:\n\n\nyou must have prior experience in being tied in this style and are willing to dive deep into emotional territory with your partner\n\nAs a pair: \n\nyou must have an established rope relationship with each other\, trust each other and have very good rapport. You must be willing to delve deep into emotional territory with each other. Please note that we do not accept pairings of people who do not know each other well for this particular class as it does not suit the topic.\n\nPrivate Lessons with Murasaki\nMurasaki Haruan will offer private lessons on August 31st and September 1st\, 2026 for all levels\, including beginners. DESCRIPTION:It’s queer rope jam time\, babes! Once in a while you gotta do ropey stuff amongst other queers and just enjoy yourself. No posing\, no being cool or extra good at doing ropey things needed. Come as you are\, exhale and enjoy yourselves. \nWhat is a rope jam?\nRope jams is an open space format. Part hangout\, part jamming with other like-minded people who are into rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku. Come and hang out and watch others do ropey stuff or do some yourself.  The queer rope jam is where you can bring your (rope) partner(s) or meet new people who love to tie\, be tied and/or self-tie. It is also a great space to have sessions in a safe(r) environment with people you do not know yet. \nWe welcome all styles\, all bodies\, all knowledge levels. There will be cute music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights and music and make it extra cozy.
