SUMMARY:Rope Hangout: Networks
DESCRIPTION:A rope hangout is an event where we learn from each other\, peer-to-peer\, get to know each other\, and do rope in a relaxed atmosphere\, regardless of experience level. You can hang out\, have coffee\, tea\, or soft drinks and chat with people if you don’t feel like tying. Being there is enough! \nThis time we will focus especially on: Networks. We will draw inspiration for our tying from nature: spiderwebs\, mycelial networks\, fractals\, tree branches\, and dark matter. \nThe things you research\, share\, and explore at rope hangout don’t have to be on topic\, it’s merely a source of inspiration. \nNote: This is not a rope jam. It’s a peer learning environment. \n  \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & Friends \nTime: July 23rd\, 2025\, 7-10 pm \nCost: 5-15 Euros \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: all levels welcome \nWhat to Bring:  yourself\, optionally ropes  (we can also lend you ropes) \nSolo or Partnered:  both work\, this is peer learning so partners are not necessary \n  \nSchedule: \n6.45 pm-7:05 pm: doors open (to ensure a safer space\, we ask you to be on time so everyone can see who is present at the starting circle)\n7:15 pm: starting circle\n7.30 pm – 10:00 pm: peer learning and social hangout\, space is chatty and there is no music \n  \nFormat: \nYour role as a participant is to share your knowledge and to get inspired by other people. You ask for help from other participants and help others whenever needed\, especially in risky or emergency situations. There is at least one facilitator present for the entirety of the hangout. The role of the facilitator is to offer the space and be the contact person in case of safety concerns. The facilitator is a participant\, not a teacher. The power of the facilitator is over the space and safety\, not over the knowledge shared. \n  \nAre you a newbie? \nWelcome to the hangout! You can attend at any time of your rope journey. We recommend sharing what you know with others even if you just began to tie. Teaching is the best way to learn! To get started with your rope skills\, take a look at our workshop schedule.\nWe recommend that you arrive at the beginning of the night. We have an introduction circle and go through the code of conduct and other important information. You will also see who else is there. If you can’t make it to the starting circle\, please contact us in advance.\nYou can always attend Rope Hangout alone and find new friends when you get there. If you feel socially awkward\, like many of us do\, bring someone you trust with you\, or send us a message in advance so we can prepare to give you extra support. \n  \nWhat’s the space like? \na kitchen and hang-out area \n2 mezzanines for private tying \none large room with suspension points\, hashiras\, bamboo\, and rings provided. \nIn the summer: the silent garden (you can tie in the garden in the summer breeze but we keep noise levels low in this area. \n  \nSafety Concept & Regulation \nPlease consult our safety concept and regulations for this event here. \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe space\, KARA\, is on the ground floor but has three steps to enter the house. SUMMARY:Pleasure Resistance – Sexual Liberation in a Fucked up World
DESCRIPTION:We live in a world that thrives on disconnection from our bodies\, from our desires\, from one another. Pleasure is often framed as a luxury\, a distraction\, or something to be earned. But what if pleasure is something deeper — a form of resistance? A radical reclaiming of our humanity\, our agency\, and our aliveness? \nPleasure Resistance is a 3-hour online workshop\, conversation\, and community space that invites you to explore pleasure not as indulgence\, but as a political practice that builds resilience. Together\, we’ll unpack how oppressive systems like patriarchy\, white supremacy\, capitalism\, and colonialism disconnect us from our erotic selves\, and how reclaiming joy and sensuality can be a bold act of defiance and care. \nThis is a virtual space for anyone who has felt anger\, shame\, numbness\, or confusion around pleasure. It’s for survivors\, queers\, rebels\, and anyone longing to reconnect with their pleasure in a world that tries to shut it down. You don’t need to have it all figured out\, just come as you are. \nWhat happens in the workshop?\nThrough guided reflection\, group dialogue\, and body-based awareness exercises\, you’ll be invited to: \n– Reframe pleasure as a tool for resilience and rebellion\n– Identify internalized narratives that limit your erotic freedom\n– Find rebellious paths to pleasure in an oppressive world\n– Explore what sexual liberation means to you\n– Connect with others in honest\, non-judgmental conversation\n– Begin (or deepen) your journey toward embodied joy \nThis space welcomes all genders\, sexualities\, body types\, and lived experiences. You do not need to have a positive relationship with sex or pleasure to attend — curiosity\, openness\, and respect are all that’s required. \n  \nEvent Details\nDate & Time:  July 22nd\, 2025\, 7-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: none \nWhat to Bring: pen & paper \nSolo or Partnered: solo \nClass recording: Yes. No participants will be recorded. You will have access to the recording for 14 days after the live class. \n\nAccessibility Note\nThe workshop and discussion are held in spoken English with automated captions in English which are provided by Zoom. Communication in the class happens either through the chat or by speaking on microphone. If you participate in this workshop and need more assistance\, i.e. someone reading out the chat\, please message us at info@karada-house.de beforehand. \n  \nWhat else to know\nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices. If that is still too much or they are out of stock\, feel free to send us a message via info@karada-house.de

SUMMARY:Rope Study with Dasniya: Skin\, Ropes and Trust
DESCRIPTION:A monthly exploration of technique\, aesthetics\, and embodied experience in rope \nJoin us for our monthly Rope Study with Dasniya\, an intermediate level rope study session that blends intuitive movement\, systematic rope management\, and deepened awareness of body handling and safety. Throughout the session\, participants will have the opportunity to switch roles between tying and being tied—gaining a fuller understanding of restriction from both perspectives. Whether you are drawn to meditative ties\, sensual exploration\, or technical precision\, this class offers a space to experience rope with curiosity and care. \n  \nThis Month’s Exploration: Harness in Motion – Skin\, Ropes and Trust\n  \nIn this rope study class we will connect systems of consequent restriction with system of movements. Dasniya will open her vast dancers tool box to creatively expand the traditional shibari vocabulary. Rope harnesses will serve as anchor points and transform the classical top-bottom dynamic into playfully and intimately dancing with your partner in space. Note: This class is the second of a series of three classes that will explore this topic in depth. The classes build on each other but it is not obligatory to take all three of them. \nDasniya’s Rope Style\n  \nDasniya’s approach to rope is deeply influenced by the Japanese Kinbaku masters Akira Naka and Kasumi Hourai\, with whom she studied in both Europe and Japan. Further inspiration comes from the photographic work of Norio Sugiura and the legacy of Nureki Chimuo\, key figures in shaping this style. \nWhile this tying system is often regarded as advanced\, it can be adapted and taught from the ground up with regular practice\, attention to detail\, and a strong focus on safety. The method combines structured forms\, improvisational principles\, and a sensitivity to restriction\, allowing practitioners to refine their technique while developing intuitive flow. \nDasniya’s personal approach is also shaped by her dance training and Buddhist background. She views rigging through the lens of movement\, listening mindfully to impulses and resonance\, often creating a meditative and euphoric experience in rope. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  July 22nd\, 2025\, 7 pm-9 pm CET (Berlin) \nFormat: hands-on rope lab \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: single-/double column tie\, basic frictions\, you need to be able to tie a box tie /TK\, simple up-lines \nWhat to Bring: comfortable clothes that are more tight fitting if possible\, a set of 8 of your own ropes\, safety equipment \nSolo or Partnered:  preferably partnered but you can also partner up in the class with other solo people or tie yourself (everyone needs a ticket) \nPrice: 25 Euros per person \n  \nNote: \nThe class starts at 7 pm sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier so we can process your ticket and welcome you. Once the class has started we do not allow entry. You cannot transfer your ticket to another week. If you are not sure you can come\, please purchase your ticket on the day as soon as you are absolutely sure you can make it. \nIf you know you will come to our open training or rope study more than just once\, please ask for our discount card! (For every 5 classes\, the 6th class is on us!) \n  \nMandatory Covid-19 rules \nIf you would like to inform yourself about other safety measures we have in place\, please consult our Covid-19 measurements here. \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe workshop is held in spoken English. SUMMARY:Open Rope Training for Beginners: Restricting & Controlling Movement
DESCRIPTION:This bi-weekly open training is designed for anyone who would like to learn about Japanese-inspired rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku whether you see yourself in the role of the person tying or being tied. \nOur open rope training for beginners is a continuous offer for anyone looking for a regular practice space to advance their skills. Each time we will offer a teaching on one particular topic. Depending on your skill level and how quickly you can pick up on things\, you can then either use the remaining open-space time to practice this one new skill in your own time or you can up the ante with the help of your teacher. You can also choose to train your own skills on another topic if you like and have a teacher give you feedback and help you improve. \n  \nTopic of the week: Restricting & Controlling Movement \nRestriction is a big part of why we love rope bondage\, and there’s only so much you can do with tying harnesses on separate body parts. This open training teaches you how to attach limbs to harnesses and furniture. It’s also a great first step for starting to figure out suspension lines. \nTeacher of the week: Ceci \nCeci teaches bondage from top\, bottom and switch perspectives with the intention of creating safer spaces to communicate through rope. They focus on curiosity\, play\, fun and the courage to learn from failure. Ceci likes to deconstruct technique and communication into their basic elements to understand them better. \n  \nNote: \nThe class starts at 7 pm sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier so we can process your ticket and welcome you. Once the class has started we do not allow entry. You cannot transfer your ticket to another week. If you are not sure you can come\, please purchase your ticket on the day as soon as you are absolutely sure you can make it. \nIf you know you will come to the open training more than just once\, please ask for our discount card! (For every 5 classes\, the 6th class is on us!) \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  every other Wednesday\, 7 pm-9 pm CET (Berlin) \nFormat: hands-on workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: you have knowledge on the topics of rope safety\, consent\, and boundaries\, you have been to our “Rope for Absolute Beginners” class at  or have solid knowledge of single & double-column ties\, wrapping\, tension & counter tension \nWhat to Bring: comfortable clothes that are more tight fitting if possible\, 1-3 of your own ropes (we can also provide ropes for you) \nSolo or Partnered:  solo\, partnered\, in a group (everyone needs a ticket) \nPrice: 25 Euros \n  \nWhat happens next? \nThe Open Rope Training for Beginners is an ongoing course designed to run approx. 8 months with constantly new topics. Within this ongoing course you can work on a lower as well as higher knowledge level. We really recommend not rushing things and really settling into coming to this open training on a long-term basis. If you feel like you are too advanced\, please talk to your teacher(s) about switching to the “Open Rope Training – Next Level” next. \n  \nMandatory Covid-19 rules \nIf you would like to inform yourself about other safety measures we have in place\, please consult our Covid-19 measurements here. \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe workshop is held in spoken English. SUMMARY:Radical Anger
DESCRIPTION:Let’s take it from Maya Angelou. \nLet’s find transformational energies for transformative times. \nThe present-day and historical views that society has on anger are not ones Caritia feels are in anyone’s best interest\, and a number of scholars and psychologists agree. \nThere are rarely spaces or places where anger can be freely and openly expressed\, and there is no room to speak about anger. Caritia invites participants to join in this intentionally held container to speak on and offer guided practices to get to know and understand their own anger\, where it comes from\, and how they can find ways to embrace this poorly understood and complex sensation. \nCaritia will share from personal experiences and offer tools\, care and practical methods to encourage you to explore yourself and your needs with more intention. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  July 7th\, 2025\, 7-9.30 pm CET\, Berlin time \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: none \nWhat to Bring: questions\, an object that represents anger for you\, an object that represents cleansing for you \nSolo or Partnered: both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: Yes\, only the facilitator will be recorded \n  \nWhat we will teach/do \n• finding understanding around anger \n• consent and boundary work \n• tapping into the emotional body \n• offering space for shadows \n• why creative movement and physical embodiment are helpful tools \n• sound as a resource \n• intention – why is it? what does it mean? \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe workshop and discussion are held in spoken English with automated captions in English which are provided by Zoom. SUMMARY:Cuddles\, Cakes and Kinks
DESCRIPTION:  \nWelcome to Cuddles\, Cakes and Kinks\, your monthly aftercare event to take a break from cisheteropatriarchy\, capitalism\, the burning world\, or life in general. We’re here to rest so we can resist\, to play as an antidote to pressure\, and to let the people eat cake.\nWe are opening our wonderful house for the evening so you can come by\, relax\, and calm down amongst other queer people. There will be hammocks and little areas for cuddling and enjoying touch. Get or give massages. Do some soft\, slow kink. Or hang out in the kitchen with us and just chat. We will be baking a bunch of cakes and there will be coffee\, tea\, and snacks to nourish your bodies and souls.\nLight and slow kink interactions are welcome. Anything that allows you to come back to yourself and into connection with others in a soft and nice way. This is not a play party or sex club\, but a playful community event. The vibe is cozy\, and we don’t do genital play.\nThere is a separate cuddle room that is completely free from any kind of play\, horny vibes\, and nudity. It’s for cuddles\, naps\, quiet conversation\, maybe reading a book. \nWhat does LIGHT and SLOW mean? \nIt means calming things down\, doing them slowly and intentionally\, with consent and good boundaries in place. It means being in community with intention\, not just intensity. It means playing in a space that is semi-private but shared. It means enjoying the energy of others being in the same space and seeking flow with each other across the room.\nWe are open and happy about what you bring as long as you do not dominate the entire room with the noise\, space you need\, or vibe. This is a shared experience so please read the room and give others space as well.\nImagine you’re doing kink for the first time – things are moving slow and shy. Maybe a spank there\, a pull of the hair there\, a bit of giggling\, a soft smooch on the lips\, a drip off a candle\, a bite on the neck\, playing cats for a while\, wrists that are tied\, a teasing run of rope across the chest.\nIf you want it wild\, hard\, and horny\, come to Wild Unicorns instead!\nDue to hygiene\, trigger potential\, and the vibe of the event\, we do not allow: \n– sideline wanking\n– full nudity outside the play area (big room)\n– blood\, pee\, scat play\n– knife play\, needle play\n– uniforms and/or role play that includes institutional power dynamics (i.e. school\, military\, police\, bürgeramt…) \nDress code \nSoft and cozy (onesies\, lounge wear\, leggings\, pajamas\, flower dresses\, hoodies…) or if you’re in the mood to dress up\, you can flag queer like you’re going to pride (fabulous outfits\, jeans shorts with pocket kerchiefs\, leather daddies\, muscle mommies\, rainbow makeup…) \nWhat’s the space like? \nkitchen and hang-out area with cake\, snacks\, tea\, coffee\, stim toys\, and an introvert’s corner.\nlarge room with mats\, cushions\, blankets\, suspension points\, hammocks\, and nice music.\nmezzanine with a massage table\, floor massage spot\, and massage oil.\ncuddle space with soft mattresses\, pillows\, blankets\, dim lights\, and soft music.\nquiet garden in the summer for touching grass and enjoying the breeze. \nHow it works \nThe door opens at 5:00 pm and stays open until 7:00 pm (sharp).\nYou will need to purchase a ticket upfront as space is limited.\nAt 5:30 pm we will give an introduction to people who are new to the space and want to meet others. If you come later\, you will still go through an introduction to the rules\, space\, and event at arrival.\nYou can then choose your space and mode (talk\, cuddle\, sleep\, eat cake\, light play) and enjoy yourself. \nWhat to bring \nYourself and maybe things you like to share with others.\nPlease bring a blanket or towel to put on the yoga mats we provide. \nWhat else to know \nThis event is aimed at LGBTQIA+ audiences.\nThis space is a sober space. Please do not bring any substances to the spaces or enter the space under the influence.\nNudity is welcome in the play area.\nBathrooms and showers are available. \nRules of Engagement \n\nCuddles\, cakes and kinks is a playful community event for LGBTQIA+ people. This is not a play party or sex club. We are here to connect and rest. You can cuddle\, chat\, read a book\, eat cake\, do some light and slow BDSM\, exchange massages\, or even make out. The dress code is soft and cozy or flagging queer.\nLight and slow means that you are mindful of how loud you are\, how much space you take\, and try to be in harmony with the rest of the room. Think cozy\, consensual and cute\, not intense and overwhelming.\nThis is a sober event. Please do not bring any substances to the space or enter under the influence.\nThe play space is for light and slow kink play. If you want to watch\, sit on one of the seats. You can be nude in the designated areas if you keep a towel under your butt. No sideline wanking\, scat\, piss\, sharps\, or uniforms/roleplay based on institutional power. Disinfect your spot after using\, and bring textiles to wash if you got bodily fluids on them (like sweaty butt or drool).\nThe mezzanine in the play space is for massage. Wipe off hands and feet afterwards if you use oil\, and bring socks to wear.\nThe cuddle space (back room or garden terrace) is for cuddles\, naps\, and light conversation. No nudity\, play\, or horny vibes. Ask before joining the cuddle puddle.\nThe kitchen area is for eating cake\, drinking tea\, and chatting. It’s free from play and nudity. Ask the space holders if you want a coffee. Ask us if you need sugar or gluten free options. We appreciate donations for the buffet. There’s a stim toy box.\nThe mezzanine in the kitchen is for retreating and resting\, leave people alone if they are up there.\nSmoking only in the smoking area in the garden\, next to the gate.\nBe soft and slow\, respect others and give them space. Collaborate in creating a safe and gentle mood. You get gratitude and imaginary points for helping us clean the space afterwards.\n\nAccessibility Note \nThe space\, KARA\, is on the ground floor but has three steps to enter the house. A ramp for wheelchairs is available at all times. There is also a parking space available right in front of the door if needed. KARA has an accessible bathroom available. There are no thresholds in the entire house. The garden is only partially accessible at the moment. During the workshop\, we will sit on the floor. Sitting in a chair can also be provided. Adaptations for physical needs will be shown and can also be provided upon request. SUMMARY:Urawaza – and Other Tools for Communication in Ropes
DESCRIPTION:  \nUrawaza (裏技) are the techniques in the back\, the ones that an outside observer barely notices\, those secret tricks. Urawaza applied to Kinbaku in the proper way can have an immense effect on the person in ropes. They are at the intersection between tying skills and communication techniques. They are the reason why it is more important to ask the question how to tie rather than what to tie. \nIn this 3 part workshop series\, Barkas is working with the participants on different tools that help actually grasping this ominous term “communication”. \n  \nPart 1: Introduction (July 2nd\, 2025\, 7-10pm) \nIntroduction to the topic: What is communication (if it’s not exchange of information)? What the hell is an urawaza? How can they help us in rope bondage? \nPart 2: Urawaza (July 16th\, 2025\, 7-10pm) \nCommon Urawaza as shown on some standard ties. “If a TK is boring it’s not the TK’s fault”. \nPart 2: Create your Own (July 23rd\, 2025\, 7-10pm) \nCreate your own Urawaza. A guide towards developing your own style of tying. \n  \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time: July 2nd\, 16th & 23rd\, 2025\, 7 pm-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: Basic understanding of some of the most common patterns and knots in Kinbaku advantageous but not mandatory. \nWhat to Bring:  if you want to tie along you need ropes\, safety gear\, space\, a partner and skills for thorough negotiation \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: Yes. The recording will be made available after the live class for 14 days \n  \nWho is this event for? \nLGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity\, meaning: lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, pansexual\, transgender\, non-binary\, genderqueer/fluid\, \nFriends describe people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respectful of the necessity\, needs\, and boundaries of a queer safe(r) space and its marginalized community. \nWhen you consider yourself a friend you show acknowledgment to and are respectful of everyone’s self-expression and do not assume presume or project non-consensual ideas onto others. SUMMARY:Open Rope Training for Beginners: Moving with each other
DESCRIPTION:This bi-weekly open training is designed for anyone who would like to learn about Japanese-inspired rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku whether you see yourself in the role of the person tying or being tied. \nOur open rope training for beginners is a continuous offer for anyone looking for a regular practice space to advance their skills. Each time we will offer a teaching on one particular topic. You can also choose to train your own skills on another topic if you like and have a teacher give you feedback and help you improve. \n  \nTopic of the week: Moving with each other on the floor \nDifferent ways of moving create very different rope sessions\, and everyone playing has agency on how they move their own body. This open training explores how to be more creative with movement and how the person getting tied can completely change the course of the session.  \nTeacher of the week: Ceci \nCeci teaches bondage from top\, bottom and switch perspectives with the intention of creating safer spaces to communicate through rope. SUMMARY:The Closing Ritual
DESCRIPTION:  \nIt’s been a glorious time with tears\, laughter\, play and desires. We made new friends and reconnected with old ones\, and now it is time to bid one another farewell. Caritia and Sophia Rose invite you to this guided session of kindness and sweetness for yourself and others. There will be the offer of solo\, paired and group spaces to cuddle\, kiss\, fist bump or give a spank of farewell. If you’re not fond of farewells\, leave your number on the board for your crush. However you choose to say goodbye\, we will be there to support you. \nLet’s be present in the moment and move out of Little Purrrverts in a kind and calm way (less festival-drop!) \nThis ritual is for all those attending Little Purrrverts 2025 and will be held spatially. \nA solo self-touch space. \nA middle cuddle puddle. \nA partnered / 1:1 space. \nA Sensory integration space \nCaritia and Sophia will continue in the slow sensory vibe of the festival by encouraging you (participants and facilitators) to engage your senses in the ways which feel grounding and nourishing. To support this in a timely way\, there will be a sound indicator to change and move on\, but you have\, as always\, the choice to move when it feels appropriate for your timing and energy\, with a final group hug for those who wish for it. \n  \nFormat: ritual \nMinimum knowledge level: – \nMaximum amount of participants: – \nWhat to bring: –\n \nConstellations: all constellations welcome \nCan I watch?  no \nAccessibility:  we will be on the floor
