The premiss is simple\, three tarot cards will be selected from the Robert M Place ‘The Alchemical Tarot’ whose imagery was inspired by the work of Pamala Colman Smith (1878-1951). Be inspired to tie by what moves you within the cards. Each constellation of people can choose one aspect of the reading – one of the cards themes\, colours\, or tie in a way that incorporates all three of the cards. (only three cards will be randomly selected). \nCaritia will guide and support the space\, with the intention of holding this collective experience with joy and creativity. Part hangout\, part jamming with other like-minded people who are into rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku. Come and hang out and watch others do ropey stuff or do some yourself.  The queer rope jam is where you can bring your (rope) partner(s) or meet new people who love to tie\, be tied and/or self-tie. It is also a great space to have sessions in a safe(r) environment with people you do not know yet. \nWe welcome all styles\, all bodies\, all knowledge levels. We will dive deeper into topics\, techniques and ideas that give more range and depth to your rope practice. \nTopic of Exploration: Predicaments in Partial Suspension\nPredicaments are positions that give the person tied the opportunity to move between two or more positions that suck. In this class\, we will use partial suspensions to create ties that fuck with the mind. Ceci will demonstrate some fundamentals and ideas\, after which you will practice creating your own predicament ties. It’s possible to either copy what is shown or come up with your own version. Any kind of body can be tied in the class. You have to understand the risks of suspension on both sides of the rope to join this class.

DESCRIPTION:  \n\nHarvest season is upon us and after the heat of the summer\, we are moving into fall. In this 1-day playshop Caritia will you guide through the luscious abundance of queer and kinky joy and play. While the world at large is working under the guise of constant scarcity\, we will expand ourselves\, our wishes and desires\, our queerness and kinkiness in the most delicious of ways. \n\n\n\nTogether as a group\, we will start with a “wishes and desire circle” collecting peoples ideas of what they would like to experience and how they would like to play with themselves and others on this glorious Saturday. We will then look at fun and inventive ideas of how to make people’s desires come true while also taking care of needs\, boundaries and risk as well as the potential of transformative moments and sessions. \n\n\n\nThis playhshop is replacing scarcity with abundance\, anxiety with curiosity\, the idea of having to figure out your desires on you own with making it a group process of being held\, cherished and nurtured. In short\, this Saturday will be luscious as fuck. \n\n\n\nWhat we will do\n\n\n\n\nWe will gather together and create a wonderful queer and kinky bubble of like-minded people\n\n\n\nWe will get to know each other and share our queer and kinky wishes and desires in a shame-free\, abundant and nurturing environment\n\n\n\nWe will be creative and curious together and create scenes\, sessions and processes to work with you wished and desires\n\n\n\nWe will create a space in time that allows for these wishes and desires to come true\n\n\n\nWe will play. Deliciously\, luciously.\n\n\n\nWe will share a meal together. We will share aftercare together.\n\n\n\n\nShared lunch\n\n\n\nWe will share food with each other during this playshop\, so please bring something to eat for you and the group (potluck style\, it does not have to be much).
