SUMMARY:Strategies for Switching: Fulfilling Your Desires
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe term “switch” has a lot of baggage attached to it in a polarized BDSM community\, where you are expected to be a Top or a Bottom\, a Master or a Slave. There are a thousand reasons why many of us feel a calling to cross over from time to time\, while others are born to ride a wide variety of sides of their souls. \nWe will be addressing why people switch (Tops who want to know what it feels like\, Slaves who want to serve masochistic Masters\, greedy versatile pigs who want it all)\, strategies to finding play partners or relationship structures (one partner many roles\, play partners outside of monogamous relationships\, polyamory\, swinging\, open relationships\, self-play)\, and create ways to check in with ourselves about what our own needs are. Let’s look at switching\, and see what notions we are ready to embrace\, and which need to be switched around.< \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  July 9th 2021\, 8-10pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: N/A \nWhat to Bring:  An open mind\, sense of humor\, hydration\, and space to reflect on your journey\n \nSolo or Partnered:  All constellations welcome (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: yes\, participants will not be recorded. \n  \nWhat we will teach/do \n. Examine what sort of multi-desire player you are \n• Discuss tools for sharing your passions with partners \n• Look at the various relationship approaches that can fit with your type of switching \n• Reflect on how to care for all of the sides of ourselves \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices. If that is still too much or they are out of stock\, feel free to send us a message via info@karada-house.de

SUMMARY:Rope Practices for Every Body Part 6: Asymmetry for Different Physical Limitations
DESCRIPTION:This workshop/research lab series by Kanna & Kagura aims to work towards diversifying Kinbaku/Shibari/rope and making it more accessible to all bodies\, sizes\, shapes\, ethnicities\, ages\, and genders in a positive\, empowering way. \nEnjoy challenging rope practices in a healthy and comfortable way that caters to the needs of your body and your heart. ♬︎♡ \nThis new series is based on your requests! It is not a pre-designed workshop/class where there is a base pattern and the main focus is on teaching it\, and then checking\, correcting\, and suggesting to each person\, to find the correct answer that already exists. \nThis series is a laboratory in which you will experience the process and thinking that goes into an answer that you pose. Together with Kanna  & Kagura\, you will explore a way to find an answer to your specific question and/or needs. \nNote: We will work mostly with common knowledge and not highly advanced techniques that require the prior acquisition of skills and knowledge. We will not require special equipment or furniture that is not available to everyone everywhere in order to keep the lab accessible for everyone. Furthermore\, the current situation of Covid-19 in Japan makes it unsafe and flat out impossible to work with different models of various body types and genders as it is too dangerous. We apologize. Whereas we cannot provide the representation we wished to provide for safety reasons\, we nevertheless wish to share our vast knowledge and we also have various ways to improvise and demonstrate. \nThis event is for a single class. If you’d like to purchase the entire series for a reduced price\, please click here. \n  \n❤ Part 6: “Asymmetry for Different Physical Limitations” (July 3rd\, 2021\, 2 pm CET) \nIn general\, the main patterns of Kinbaku are symmetrical shibari\, but you can also enjoy asymmetrical shibari even if your partner has shoulder pain\, lack of flexibility\, shoulder/arm muscles tightness\, or left-right differences! Together we’ll adjust ties to different physical handicaps. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  July 3rd\, 2021 2 pm – 4 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: research lab & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: Japanese\, simultaneous translation into English will be provided \nMinimum Knowledge Level: intermediate \nWhat to Bring:  if you want to tie along you need ropes\, safety gear\, space\, a partner\, a hard point \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: Yes\, participants will not be recorded. The recordings will be made available for 14 days after the last live session (ending on July 17th\, 2021). \n  \nWhat else to know \n  \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices. SUMMARY:Rope Jam with Live Music
DESCRIPTION:It’s hard to believe but we are actually back! And this is our first jam in many many months. \nRope Jams are spaces to meet people who love to tie or be tied (or both) and/or bring your tying partner(s) to have a wonderful session together in a space with like-minded people. \nAll roles\, levels\, styles\, etc. are welcome. \nTonight we also offer you some amazingly chill live guitar music by Kenny Stanger. Kenny is a multidisciplinary guitarist and pianist who has performed and composed in a wide range of genres (e.g. classical\, jazz\, fusion\, rock\, minimal\, avant-garde) and styles. In 2008 he created “Moe’s Cafe”\, a solo guitar project which relies heavily on loops and delay effects to create mesmerizing tapestries of sound that has the power to put your mind into a dreamlike state of consciousness. \nIn the last hour of the jam\, we will also offer a gong bath session. \n  \nHow it works \nThe door opens at 7:00 pm and stays open until 9:30 pm (sharp). \nWe will greet you at the door and ask for some information\, your proof of testing (not older than 24 hours)\, or proof of vaccination. \nYou pay in cash at the door (5-15 Euros sliding scale). \nSpaces are limited. If the limit is reached\, you can come back later and see if there is space (until door closes at 9:30pm). \nAt 7:30 pm we will give an introduction to people who are new to the space and/or new to the jam (format). \nYou can then choose your space to tie (we offer bamboo\, ring\, and spaces for floorwork). The spaces have yoga mats and cushions. \nLive music starts at 8:00 pm. \nIn the last hour\, we lower the lights and offer a gong bath for a slower\, more intimate session end. \n  \nWhat to bring \nAll ropes\, gear\, safety cutter\, carabiners\, etc you need. \nWe have rings and bamboo but you can also bring your own. \nPlease bring a blanket or towel to put on the yoga mats we provide. \n  \nWhat else to know \nThis rope jam is aimed at LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS audiences. \nThis space is a no-photography space. \nThis is not a teaching space. \nThis space is a sober space. Please do not bring any substances to the spaces. \nNudity is welcome. \nWe provide water\, tea\, etc. We cannot currently offer snacks. \nBathrooms and shower are available. \nThe space is accessible. \nGot no rope? Feel free to purchase some upfront and pick them up at the jam (min. 48 hours upfront if you wish to order more than 2 ropes). \n  \nSafety Concept \nYou need to bring proof of testing (not older than 24 hours)\, or proof of vaccination in order to be let inside. \nHand disinfectant provided in multiple places. All surfaces are disinfected and will be disinfected in between use. \nSpace is limited to give more space for everyone. \nWe frequently air the space and also use fans for more circulation. \nWe partially partition off spaces for tying for more safety/intimacy. \nYou must wear a mask at all times\, with the exception of you sitting in a dedicated tying spot with a partner/partners of your own household. \n  \nFAQs: \nFirst time? No problem. \nPlease join us right at 7:30 pm for an introduction to the space\, the jam itself\, and some advice as to how to navigate a jam and how to engage with people. \nIntroverted? No problem. \nJust send us a message beforehand and we will help you navigate the evening and find like-minded people to engage with. \nNo ropes? No problem. \nWe have some workshop ropes for floor work that you can borrow. We also sell ropes at Karada House. \nTotal newbie? No problem. \nCome\, join the crowd and have a drink. Get to know people and watch others tie and play. \nComing alone? No problem. \nWe always introduce people to each other at the introduction round at 7:30 pm\, so join us then to meet other people.

SUMMARY:Rope Practices for Every Body Part 3: Exposure for Play
\n  \n❤ Part 3: Exposure for Play (June 5th\, 2021\, 2 pm CET) \nFor humiliation\, play\, se+ual acts\, and se+y poses let’s do Shibari where the partner is restricted in an embarrassing/shameful position (with the secret places in full view). \nThis class will include floorwork predicament and partial suspension. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  June 5th 2021 2 pm – 4 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: research lab & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: Japanese\, simultaneous translation into English will be provided \nMinimum Knowledge Level: intermediate \nWhat to Bring:  if you want to tie along you need ropes\, safety gear\, space\, a partner\, a hard point \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: Yes\, participants will not be recorded.
