SUMMARY:CBT Below the Belt
DESCRIPTION:As extreme as it may sound\, the spectrum for sensation with tying the penis and testicles is very diverse. I like to call it cock and ball bondage (CBB) vs. cock and ball torture (CBT)\nbecause it doesn’t have to be about pain (unless that’s what you’re into!). We will explore this type of tying with playfulness\, creativity\, and a focus on consent! From light sensation play to more intense ties and predicaments – We will explore a variety of pleasures (and consensual pain) that cock bondage and CBT can provide for us and our\npartners\, or clients! \nThere will be a mix of demonstrations\, plenty of time for trying things out\, and questions/sharing. \nAssistant for this class: René de Sans \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  September 17th\, 2022\, 7 pm- 10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nKnowledge level: This class is open to all levels though it will help if you have a bit of experience with\nrope or have attended an introductory session. \nWhat to bring:   \nConsider everything you use in the workshop will potentially be in contact with your partner’s genitals so be mindful of the type of rope you would like to use or bring. \n– 2 or more lengths of rope (cotton/jute/synthetic is fine)\n– A thinner rope (4mm or twine)\n– Stockings/stretchy material\nYou can bring any toys or materials you would like to explore or incorporate into your play – this could be pegs/twine/chopsticks/shoelaces/underwear etc. We can really be creative\nwith what we tie with. \nSolo or Partnered:  This workshop is open to all constellations – in this intimate environment\, everyone will be respected and deserves to feel safe to participate. We will ask anyone to leave who uses this space for intrusive non-consensual exhibitionism or voyeurism toward others. In this class\, are invited to explore in ways that feel good for you\, everything shown is a suggestion\, this will be emphasized that no one is obliged to try or participate in anything which doesn’t feel right. \nEverybody needs a ticket. Ticket is per person. \n  \nWhat we will teach/offer you \n• Understanding the body for safer play practices\n• Consent and communication\n• Simple ties for sensation and exposure\n• Simple ties for restriction and compression\n• Playful predicaments\n• Getting creative with different tools and materials\n• Building intensity– and aftercare\n• Time for questions and sharing \n  \nSafety Concept & Regulation \nPlease consult our safety concept and regulations for this event here. \n  \nWho is this event for? \nLGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity\, meaning: lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, pansexual\, transgender\, non-binary\, genderqueer/fluid\, queer\, intersex\, asexual\, aromantic\, agender. \nFriends describes people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respectful of the necessity\, needs\, and boundaries of a queer safe(r) space and its marginalized community. \nWhen you consider yourself a friend you show acknowledgement to and are respectful of everyone’s self-expression and do not assume\, presume or project non-consensual ideas onto others. You actively request and use people’s chosen pronouns. You remain mindful of the fact that Karada House is first and foremost a space for queer people that you are also invited to attend. You have a genuine concern for the well-being of LGBTQIA+ people and remain in awareness of heterosexual and gender straight privileges. \nFriends don’t have to be perfect. None of us are. We request that we all pro-actively work and strive to be good friends and allies to marginalized people. \n

SUMMARY:Semi-Suspension Sequences
DESCRIPTION:Semi-suspension has a lot of advantages. You can connect more because most or some body weight is on the floor. You can create different sensations with rope without it being too overwhelming. Being close to the floor offers extra security because the way down is short and fast. Suspension lines can be used as support and an extra dimension in floor-based tying. And so much more! \nThis class explores some sequences for semi-suspension to help you get inspired. The class contains practical info on what to pay attention to with semi-suspension regarding physics\, safety\, set-up and planning. We will cover different types of semi-suspension play and show practical exercises. The workshop is based on lecture content and demonstrations. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time: September 14th\, 2022\, 7 -9 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat:  lecture and demonstrations \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – Anyone can follow the class\, but for being able to recreate the ties you will need a solid understanding of rope fundamentals (ability to tie harnesses fluently and to communicate with your rope partner) and suspension basics (suspension line locking\, understanding of risks). \nWhat to bring: pen\, paper\, or some alternative way to make notes\n \nClass recording: Yes – Participants will not be recorded. This recording will be available for 14 days after the workshop \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices. If that is still too much or they are out of stock\, feel free to send us a message via info@karada-house.de

SUMMARY:Tying Larger Bodies
DESCRIPTION:Small rigger or larger model? \n“Tying Larger Bodies” is a specific class with universal knowledge and framework oriented to help smaller riggers tying anyone bigger and larger than themselves and for rope models who are larger and bigger than their rigger. \nPauline Massimo & Mabel will share lots of fundamental knowledge and technical skills that both of you need in order to seamlessly tie together. The class not only gives you principles but also goes into the topics of safety and how to get to know your body and its limits better. It also discusses how a well-balanced collaboration between the person tying and the person being tied could look like to help with the extra challenge and have lots of great rope fun. \nThe approach of this class is not style-specific but rather focuses on communication and collaboration that is suitable for every person and style and aims to help you have a more sustainable experience and take care of your bodies. \nThis online class will serve several ideas\, tips\, and a framework that Pauline has been working on with regular revisions and updates over the years. This will not be a follow-up class but more like an explanation behind why they do things in a certain way\, their approach\, and demos of how to handle it in a practical way. \nPauline considers this class a more intermediate level\, where participants should be knowledgeable about basic practical and theoretical concepts\, both rigger and model on their own parts. Is super important that each participant sticks to their level and comfort zone and explores in a more controlled and safer way\, taking time to practice and progress to happen gradually. \nEven though the class might have some partial suspension or full suspension\, Pauline encourages participants who do not suspend to participate and watch and get what they can and need to apply for their level. Almost everything can be adapted to different levels above total beginners. \n  \nAssistant & Model: Mabel (she/her) \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  September 2nd\, 2022\, 7 pm – 9.00 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop & demo \nMinimum Knowledge Level: intermediate\, you should know all basics of rope and have experience in suspension to follow along; if you simply wish to watch and gain theoretical knowledge then you benefit from knowing basics of tying \nWhat to Bring: pen & paper\, rope\, and safety equipment if you want to tie along \nSolo or Partnered: any constellation works\, if you want to tie along you need a partner \nClass recording: Yes. This class will be recorded (only the facilitator\, not the participants) and is available for ticket holders for 14 days after the event. \n  \n  \nWho is this event for? \nLGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity\, meaning: lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, pansexual\, transgender\, non-binary\, genderqueer/fluid\, \nFriends describes people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respectful of the necessity\, needs\, and boundaries of a queer safe(r) space and its marginalized community. \nWhen you consider yourself a friend you show acknowledgement to and respect everyone’s self-expression and do not assume\, presume or project non-consensual ideas onto others. SUMMARY:Consensual Non-Consent 101
DESCRIPTION:Consensual non-consent is a form of play that is based on a mutual agreement between play partners to act as if consent has been waived. This form of play is a complex web of thoughts\, ideas\, and desires which requires a delicate balance of boundaries and communicated needs to navigate what can be deliciously troubled waters. \nJoin Caritia for this open discussion on the topic\, covering the basics and answering your questions in this co-created space. \nFor starters\, we will dive into questions such as: What is CNC? Why would anyone wish to engage with this form of play? And how many different ways can it turn out? Where are the boundaries between consent and the desire to play with taboos? Feel free to bring your own ideas and questions to the (virtual) table \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  September 1st\, 2022\, 7 pm – 9.30 pm \nFormat: discussion \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – \nWhat to Bring: ideas\, questions\, partners\, ways to keep notes \nSolo or Partnered: any constellation\, works \nClass recording: yes. This class will be recorded (only the facilitator\, not the participants) and is available for ticket holders for 14 days after the event. \n  \nWhat we will teach: \n– establishing boundaries and boundary setting\n– understanding what CNC is and is not\n– who this is for?\n– intentions within CNC\n– support strategies\n– communication tools\n  \nWho is this event for? \nLGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity\, meaning: lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, pansexual\, transgender\, non-binary\, genderqueer/fluid\, \nFriends describes people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respectful of the necessity\, needs\, and boundaries of a queer safe(r) space and its marginalized community. \nWhen you consider yourself a friend you show acknowledgement to and are respectful of everyone’s self-expression and do not assume\, presume or project non-consensual ideas onto others. SUMMARY:Having Sex with Vulvas 2: The Vagina
DESCRIPTION:In May we learned about the vulva and pleasure\, now we take a deep dive into the vagina. How does it work and how do we give and get pleasure with vaginas? \nWe will get nerdy about vaginas and explore their anatomy and origin. We will talk about expectations and scripts to overthrow vagina myths. We will also find different techniques to give pleasure for vaginas and to get pleasure for yourself if you have one. SUMMARY:Altered States: Kink\, Spirituality & Trauma
DESCRIPTION:Engaging with participants and students\, Caritia has been asked questions about the interrelations of kink\, altered states\, spirituality\, and trauma. What is an altered state? Can kink support or give space to dealing with challenges in your life? There is so much curiosity around chemical highs\, so-called “natural” highs\, and changed states of being\, let’s talk about them. \nCaritia will offer a safe(r) and supportive container to have a nuanced conversation around the differences between human ways of being and how we might perceive ourselves via these ever-changing lenses. As well as find intentional ways in which to explore altered/altering states and open a forum for giving space to the unknown\, the sacred\, and the profane and what these things mean to/for you. \nCaritia will aim to take an intersectional perspective and guide the discussion with reflective questions\, allowing for the nuance of messiness in the complex web of the human experience. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  August 18th\, 2022\, 7 pm- 9.30 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nKnowledge level: none \nWhat to bring: some way of taking notes\, questions around trauma\, spirituality\, kink\, and altered states \nClass recording: Yes. SUMMARY:Torsions for Self Suspension
DESCRIPTION:This is a workshop for understanding how to create self-suspended twisted shapes\, where the upper and lower body are pointing in different directions. Torsions challenge the body in different ways: breath restriction\, stretching that calls the body to relax\, and the sense of being frozen in the middle of the movement. These are also the reasons why twisted shapes are especially hard to achieve in self-suspension. \nThis workshop focuses on practical information and ties for torsion success. We will talk about the logic of upper and lower body ties suitable for self-tied torsions. Ceci will demo body mechanics and transitioning into and out of torsions in self-suspension. \nThis is not a tie-along workshop\, but access to the workshop recording will ensure you can practice on your own later. The Karada House Discord is open for questions even after the workshop. \nContents include: \n\nChest harnesses and lower body ties for self-tied torsions\nBody mechanics and transitioning\n\n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time: August 16th\, 2022\, 7 -9 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat:  workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – N/A \nWhat to bring: pen\, paper\, or some alternative way to make notes\n \nClass recording: Yes – Participants will not be recorded. SUMMARY:Crotch Ropes & Butt Bondage
DESCRIPTION:Rope can be a wonderful tool for spicing up your sex life\, and in today’s class\, we will learn to apply crotch ropes for a variety of shapes and layouts of bodies. \nAssumptions that all people who wear ropes in this area of the body want them tied in the same way are false\, and for some of us\, it can elicit feelings of dysphoria\, cause physical discomfort\, or just not feel sexy. Let’s learn and play together to create not just simple-line crotch ropes\, but convert them into handholds\, hip harnesses\, tools that highlight or reduce focus on the area\, and create aesthetically pleasing butt ties too! \nFinally\, we will learn to create our own strap-on harnesses out of rope. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  August 15th\, 2022\, 8-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: hands-on workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – \nWhat to Bring: Bring one or two 25-30 foot (7-9 meter) pieces of rope\, and a dildo if you have one\, and come play along (whether you are doing self-bondage\, are with a partner\, or just want to watch). \nSolo or Partnered: all constellations welcome \nClass recording: Yes. SUMMARY:Bratting 101: F*ck Around and Find Out
DESCRIPTION:  \nSometimes the word “brat” is used as a dirty word when it comes to kink play. A common misconception is that submissives and bottoms should be quiet and meditative during their\nexperience. Bratting can also be an excellent way to add energy to a scene\, make things entertaining for an audience\, or even communicate with each other. \nThis class is about how to fully embrace the chemistry of playful banter\, teasing\, sassy comments\, and light physical resistance. Tops will learn some techniques for how to negotiate successfully for this type of play\, strategies for ramping up the mood to match the energy of the scene\, and tips for keeping your bottom in check. Bottoms will learn some ways to ask for the type of correction they’re looking for\, strategies for ruffling the perfect amount of feathers\, and ways to tell if the chemistry needs to plateau. \nThis class includes a group discussion on ways to brat in a healthy way\, a demonstration of bratting during a scene\, and some facilitated partner lab time. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time: August 6th\, 2022\, 12.30 pm – 6 pm \nFormat: workshop & demo \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level:  All participants should be experienced with negotiation \nWhat to Bring: – \nSolo or Partnered:  partnered \nTicket: Price is per pair \n  \nSafety Concept & Regulation \nPlease consult our safety concept and regulations for this event here. \n  \nWho is this event for? SUMMARY:Introduction to Suspension
DESCRIPTION:This weekend workshop is aimed at people who are already experienced with floor work and are looking to begin suspension. We will discuss some of the reasons behind why we do suspension\, the different styles and ways to use it\, and the feeling of suspension from the perspective of both tying partners. We will look at some of the most important elements in safe suspension\, and we will gradually build these elements into a basic suspension. \nIt is recommended that participants attend with a partner they already have some experience tying with\, and have practiced a suspendable upper body harness together (of any variety that both partners are happy with). Gestalta will take some time at the beginning of the class to review everyone’s harness individually\, make small suggestions for improvement if needed\, and will also explain what to look for in judging whether or not a harness is suspendable. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  July 30th & 31st\, 2022\, 10.30am-5.30pm \nFormat: in-house workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: \n• Ability to tie a suspendable upper body harness that both partners are comfortable with. \n• Basic awareness of anatomy in ropes (for example nerves and circulation) \n• Single column tie\, and basic frictions (e.g. half hitch) \n• Experience with tying on the floor\, including rope handling\, placement and tension \nWhat to Bring:  minimum of 8 ropes of 7\,5 – 8 meters in length\, plus some short pieces if you have\, food and snacks for your day\, comfortable clothing (something you would do movement in)\, questions\, and an open mind\n \nSolo or Partnered:  Partnered\, price is per pair \n  \nWhat we will teach/do \n• Reviewing harnesses for safety \n• Attaching suspension lines \n• Locking suspension lines safely and efficiently \n• Different types of suspension equipment and how to change your technique accordingly. \n• Suspension line management \n• Clear and effective communication with your partner \n• Moving and lifting your partner’s body \n• The uses of hip harnesses \n• Thinking a step ahead \n• How to get down \n  \nSafety Concept \nThis event falls under our Covid-19 guidelines. \n  \nWho is this event for? SUMMARY:Releasing Grief and Sadness
DESCRIPTION:Sadness and grief touch so much of our present-day journey. \nThey are multi-layered and challenging to navigate\, but do they have a purpose? How can we personally\, collectively\, and metaphorically allow ourselves to sit with the complexity of sadness? And cherish\, honour\, and release our grief? Let’s give ourselves the gift(s) of transformation and inspiration. \nFor this ritual & workshop\, we will explore our grief place(s)\, where we find them\, why they are important and how we can remind ourselves to embrace them when we are challenged. The idea is not to have all the answers\, but more to give ourselves space to sit\, take time and share in a supportive held container. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  July 28th\, 2022\, 7 pm- 9.30 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nKnowledge level: none \nWhat to bring: Pens\, paper\, paints\, sketchbook\, images\, stories\, tissues\, objects\, and ideas to share \nClass recording: Yes. Exploring methods and actual practices/things which turn up the sadness in our lives – both individually and with others. Opening to the dark and the light. Mindfulness\, as well as a respectful tone\, is a must.\n• Guided meditation \n• Defining the nuances \n• Mess as a form of release \n• Communication Tool Kit – Finding Language around/ for sadness \n• Holding space alone or together – ways to connect \n• Who is your sadness for? \n• Feedback & close \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices.
