SUMMARY:Points of Contact - The Sharps Jam
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to your Points of Contact. This is a sharps jam for you to play with or around like-minded and experienced people who are into needles\, knives\, staples\, blood or other sharp fantasies. This is a non-teaching space. Hanging out\, watching and absorbing the ambiance and practices is also welcome. There are side-rooms for meeting people and socialising outside of the intimate atmosphere of the main play-space. We welcome all bodies. There will be play-appropriate music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights to allow for a slow and gentle transition and easing out. \nNote\nThis event is not for first timers. You must have previous experience and confidence in the sharps play that you’re doing and how to handle things if it starts going wrong.\nIf you are not confident that you have enough experience\, do not despair! Please simply come to the Points of Entry – Fundamentals workshop earlier that afternoon\, that is event is for first timers. Then you will be skilled enough and ready to happily come to this jam.\n\n\nPlease bring your own sharps equipment and kit to play with. If you do not have a couple of these supplies\, you can dip into our supplies stock\, which is limited\, in return for a small donation to cover the cost of whatever you want to use. A few euros for most things is fine\, however staplers are €8\, staple removers are €4 and knives are €6 each. Please bring cash\, or you can scan a QR code to do a bank transfer in the moment. Please also bring your own clean waterproof sheet/orgy mat to play on\, which you can lay on top of our mats. We also have back ups for this if you don’t have one.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Sometimes it’s the not getting what you want that makes it all the more enticing and arousing\, so we will experiment with the pleasure of that in between space to draw out tension\, desire and ramp up some lustful yearning in bondage! \n\nThrough practical ideas and offerings as well as longer demonstrations\, this session we will delve into the pleasure of erotic frustration to explore getting ‘horny’ in ropes (and enjoying drawing that out…) to see what resonates for you. From my approach this is about seduction\, teasing and erotic objectification\, not necessarily always with a lot of close physical or normatively ‘sexual’ contact.\n\nProfessionally and personally in my sessions I love exploring the idea of classic ‘tie and tease’ varying distance\, restraint and frustration to heighten arousal and anticipation. We’ll play with coming in and out of someone’s physical space\, sensory deprivation and exposure\, intentional touch and denial\, as well as ‘edging’ outside of the classical genital/sexual sense.

DESCRIPTION:When facilitating adult groups on topics related to sexuality and kink\, with a focus on practical experimentation and action\, we often bring our whole selves to the table. Our experiences\, our ability to regulate ourselves\, our interest and passion for sexuality and kink topics. When the focus is on fun\, experimentation and experience\, we often have a curious and eager group in front of us. The adults in front of us also bring their entire history and embodied biography with them. The more they are part of a minority\, the more minority stress and often bad experiences\, discrimination and distrust they bring with them. When it comes to sexuality\, we can assume that there is always at least one person in the group who has experienced sexualised violence. Many people have had experiences in their lives that have the potential to cause trauma. None of our various offerings are trauma therapy\, but rather educational offerings. \nAlexander Hahne\, gay trans man\, trainer and speaker for trans-specific topics in the field of sexual health\, sex educator\, somatic counselor\, sexuality focussed bodyworker\, systemic sex therapist\, dancer and pleasure activist. Leader of workshops and individual counselling on the topics of body awareness\, intimacy and sexuality. He works in the field of sexuality for about 20 years with almost 15 years of facilitation in pleasure and kink spaces. We’ll work to understand the terms widespread popularization and adoption\, theoretical context\, and use within policy and incident response policies within kink and sex positive spaces. We’ll ask: what does it mean to be held accountable? Who is empowered and disempowered by the concept of accountability? Who does the concept disenfranchise\, and what model of human psychology and experience do popular versions of the concept of accountability propose?  \nAbout this series\nKink is Political is an online discussion with Addie Tahl\, Georg Barkas\, Andrea Rimon\, and occasional special guests. Participants are invited to join a discussion during which we unite critique with an emphasis on the practical and day-to-day issues and challenges of kink\, intimacy\, and relationships. \nFocusing on concepts central to BDSM\, leather\, rope\, and sex-positive communities\, it interrogates widely adopted approaches and commonly held notions. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering for BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice\, and support one another through a community actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit.

DESCRIPTION:It’s queer rope jam time\, babes! Once in a while you gotta do ropey stuff amongst other queers and just enjoy yourself. No posing\, no being cool or extra good at doing ropey things needed. Come as you are\, exhale and enjoy yourselves. \nWhat is a rope jam?\nRope jams is an open space format. Part hangout\, part jamming with other like-minded people who are into rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku. Come and hang out and watch others do ropey stuff or do some yourself.  The queer rope jam is where you can bring your (rope) partner(s) or meet new people who love to tie\, be tied and/or self-tie. It is also a great space to have sessions in a safe(r) environment with people you do not know yet. \nWe welcome all styles\, all bodies\, all knowledge levels. There will be cute music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights and music and make it extra cozy.
