DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to be a little mean? How can sadism become playful\, connective\, attentive\, or even tender? \nThis workshop invites participants to explore the quieter\, subtler\, and more personal expressions of sadism beyond intensity alone. Together\, we will investigate how teasing\, tension\, anticipation\, discomfort\, control\, humour\, and unusual impulses can support play\, intimacy\, and connection in ways that feel authentic to you. \nCaritia will guide participants through discussion\, reflection\, and collaborative exploration around the topic of s/m\, encouraging curiosity\, communication\, and personal agency within play. Participants will be invited to experiment with one or two practical exercises and playful frameworks\, exploring how different approaches to sadism can shift dynamics\, sensation\, trust\, and relational presence. \nThis workshop is less about performing a role and more about discovering your own language of play — whether mischievous\, caring\, awkward\, intense\, creative\, or strange. Participants can expect a space centred on exploration\, consent\, experimentation\, and finding new ways to connect through intentional play.

DESCRIPTION:As Kink Space Facilitators\, we experience a wide range of impressions in our work. We plan juicy offers\, trauma and queer inclusive\, and hold space for experiences\, uncertainties\, fuck ups\, desires and much more. After planning and implementation comes reflection and evaluation. The ‘how was I’ as a professional and personally. \nAlexander Hahne\, gay trans man\, trainer and speaker for trans-specific topics in the field of sexual health\, sex educator\, somatic counselor\, sexuality focussed bodyworker\, systemic sex therapist\, dancer and pleasure activist. Leader of workshops and individual counseling on the topics of body awareness\, intimacy and sexuality. He works in the field of sexuality for about 20 years with almost 15 years of facilitation in pleasure and kink spaces. With his work he directly support them in their own experience of the body as well as the possibility of uncovering and using access to their own pleasurable potential. \nWhat happens in the workshop?\nIn this workshop\, we will first put on our oxygen masks and subject our work to a reality check to see how it actually was. \nFor example\, we will address the following questions: \n\nWhich methods worked really well and why?\nDid the planning of your trauma-informed process have the desired effect during implementation?\nWere there situations in which you felt uncertain or overwhelmed? What did you do then? What could be different next time?\nWhich methods did you use and why? What worked\, what didn’t and why?\n\nYes\, there is always too little time and the physical space is different than expected… how do you deal with that? How does that affect your stress level and facilitation? \nThe approach is to separate your behaviour from you as a person. You as a person are highly valued and your behaviour is criticised. \nNote\nThis offering connects to and extends Ceci Ferox’s workshops Intentional Kink Space Facilitation and Intentional Kink Spaces: Structures and Organizing. DESCRIPTION:In our last session before a short summer break\, we’ll turn towards the concept of “accountability.”  In conversation with Pinko’s published volume After Accountability: A Critical Genealogy of a Concept\, we’ll trace the history and limitations of a value commonly professed by kink educators and organizations. We’ll work to understand the terms widespread popularization and adoption\, theoretical context\, and use within policy and incident response policies within kink and sex positive spaces. We’ll ask: what does it mean to be held accountable? Who is empowered and disempowered by the concept of accountability? Who does the concept disenfranchise\, and what model of human psychology and experience do popular versions of the concept of accountability propose?  \nAbout this series\nKink is Political is an online discussion with Addie Tahl\, Georg Barkas\, Andrea Rimon\, and occasional special guests. Participants are invited to join a discussion during which we unite critique with an emphasis on the practical and day-to-day issues and challenges of kink\, intimacy\, and relationships. \nFocusing on concepts central to BDSM\, leather\, rope\, and sex-positive communities\, it interrogates widely adopted approaches and commonly held notions. It aims to understand the politics of kink beyond the language of sexual liberation and politics of sexual liberalism\, both frames that have proven insufficient in addressing widespread harm\, a rising international tide of sex-negativity and reaction\, or in guaranteeing that the most marginalized can sexually flourish. \nKink is Political is an examination of the contexts and consequences of how we talk about and understand gender and sexuality. DESCRIPTION:Opening up relationships can bring up a lot of emotions\, it can be challenging and chaotic at times but also exciting. It is a great opportunity to become aware of what we appreciate and what we would like to change in our existing relationships. This two part series is designed for people who would like to start or are in the middle of starting to open up a relationship. Our main focus will be on shaping the change and navigating new beginnings.\nPart I\, May 7th\, 7-9pm: Basics\nThe first part will mainly focus on the basics of open and polyamorous relationships such as dealing with complex emotions (like jealousy)\, coming up with good and meaningful agreements\, finding a bit more clarity around needs and boundaries\, putting theory into practice and finding a bit more clarity around why we are interested in opening up relationships.\n\nPart II\, May 14th\, 7-9pm: Common Mistakes\n\nThe second part will focus on common open relationship mistakes and how to avoid them. Navigating exciting new energy\, like dating new people\, having sexual interactions with more then one person\, falling in love with new people\, etc. can be challenging and there is a lot to consider at the same time. This last part will put an emphasize on common pitfalls.\nThe combination of both parts aim to provide you with:\n\n\na better understanding about your own needs and wishes around open relationships\na solid basis to start exploring open relationships\, not only in theory but also in practice\nhelpful examples on how agreements and setting up the frame for open relationships can look like\nexamples on common mistakes and how you can use that knowledge\nlots of exercises which you can do either on your own and/or share in the group. Each of us brings different ways of sensing\, thinking\, feeling\, and communicating—and when those differences meet\, misunderstanding can easily arise. When intimacy\, touch\, and desire enter the picture\, this complexity can deepen even further. \nWithin kink and erotic play\, where communication\, boundaries\, and consent are central\, neurodivergent ways of experiencing the world can shape connection in important ways. This makes it vital to talk openly about neurodiversity—the natural variation in human minds—and about the lived experiences of neurodivergent people within kink and intimate spaces. \nHow can we create more supportive\, curious\, and spacious approaches to intimacy and play? What becomes possible when differences in processing\, communication\, and sensory experience are met with care rather than assumption? \nIn this open discussion and experiential lab\, Caritia invites participants into a shared exploration of kink and neurodivergence. Together\, we will engage in personal reflection and collective dialogue\, sharing experiences\, questions\, and perspectives. SUMMARY:Kink is Political - Ambiguity
DESCRIPTION:Kink is Political is an online discussion with Addie Tahl\, Georg Barkas\, Andrea Rimon\, and occasional special guests. Participants are invited to join a discussion during which we unite critique with an emphasis on the practical and day-to-day issues and challenges of kink\, intimacy\, and relationships. \n\n\n\nFocusing on concepts central to BDSM\, leather\, rope\, and sex-positive communities\, it interrogates widely adopted approaches and commonly held notions. It aims to understand the politics of kink beyond the language of sexual liberation and politics of sexual liberalism\, both frames that have proven insufficient in addressing widespread harm\, a rising international tide of sex-negativity and reaction\, or in guaranteeing that the most marginalized can sexually flourish. \n\n\n\nKink is Political is an examination of the contexts and consequences of how we talk about and understand gender and sexuality. It is a forum to think about how kink spaces and practices operate\, what works\, what doesn’t\, and what we can use to build something better. \n\n\n\nThis month’s topic: Ambiguity\nIn March’s session\, we’ll turn towards our experience of “ambiguity.” Against approaches to sex and kink that forefront clarity and transparency\, we’ll think through what value ambiguity has and what the active production and appreciation of ambiguity might bring to the table. Looking towards both the literary critical and our experiences of the everyday\, we’ll weigh the problems and poetic affordances that ambiguity presents in a culture so deeply concerned about security and liability mitigation.

SUMMARY:Un(a)shamed: Ethics\, Kink\, and the Stories We Tell Ourselves
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever heard someone say “kinkshaming is bad\, but some kinks deserve to be shamed”? If so\, do you agree? If you do\, how do we decide? If you don’t\, how do you stand up for yourself? And in either case\, how do we practice kink in a way that aligns with our ethics\, without succumbing to shaming from others?“Un(a)shamed” is a reflective and writing-based workshop that will move us beyond simple slogans and assumptions\, and challenge us to articulate — to ourselves and future partners — our values and ethical boundaries. DESCRIPTION:Being ‘trauma informed’ has become a buzzword in rope (and kink) spaces but many of us still feel unclear about what it actually means\, especially in rope.
