SUMMARY:Hands & Hearts - Community Hangout to Process and Take Care of each other after the CSD attack
DESCRIPTION:We are offering a virtual hangout to any LGTBQIA+ people who wish to come together online to be in community with us and others after what happened this weekend at the Berlin CSD. We are all affected by this\, no matter if we were actually present so let’s take care of each other. We will hang out together\, talk and take care of each other. \nWe also invite you to bring something to do with your hands. Mamana will repot some plants\, Renée will make her infamous tiramisu\, etc. Bring crafty stuff or ropes to tie yourself or anything else you feel like doing with your hands while we hang out. \nThis space will be held be Ceci Ferox\, Mamana and Renée de Sans. If needed and wanted we can also add some psychological first aid exercises\, etc. if you like. What you do in this space is up to you. Just show up. \nPlease note: We understand the fear and anger\, but we will not accept these feelings to be turned into discriminating behavior. We will meet with care towards any and all LGTBQIA+ people\, especially those who are affected not only be the attack itself but also by its current racist interpretations.

SUMMARY:Rope Hangout: Outdoors
DESCRIPTION:A rope hangout is a welcoming\, peer-to-peer space where we research rope together\, connect\, and explore in a relaxed\, pressure-free atmosphere\, no matter your experience level. All forms of rope bondage (Japanese inspired shibari/kinbaku\, western style bondage\, decorative macrame…) are warmly invited. \nWhether you feel like tying or simply being present\, you’re welcome here. Enjoy non-alcoholic drinks\, snacks\, and easy conversation — sometimes just showing up is enough. There’s no pressure to perform\, teach\, or know anything in advance. Curiosity and your (imaginary) lab coat is all you need to bring. \nThis month’s special focus: Outdoors\n\nWhat should we take into consideration with tying outdoors? What are the best outdoor tying spots in Berlin? And if the weather is nice – have you tied in the Karada House garden yet? \nThe theme is an open invitation rather than a guideline. You’re always encouraged to follow your own interests\, bring questions\, share experiences\, or simply observe and take it all in. The space is shaped by what each person brings into it. \nNote: This is not a rope jam/play space. Rope Hangout is a peer learning environment.

SUMMARY:Repairing Kink Ruptures – What to Do When Things Go Wrong
DESCRIPTION:Things will go wrong in kink. Miscommunication\, emotional overwhelm\, consent slips\, physical mishaps\, or simply mismatched expectations — ruptures are a real risk in when working with intensity\, vulnerability\, and power exchange. \nThis workshop focuses on what happens after the moment shit hits the fan. \nWe’ll explore how to recognize rupture as it’s happening\, how to pause without escalating harm\, and how to repair connection in ways that build trust rather than erode it. Drawing on principles from restorative and transformative justice\, we’ll look beyond blame and punishment toward accountability\, repair\, and the possibility of doing things differently. \nWhat does it mean to take responsibility in a kink context? How do we respond to harm without collapsing into defensiveness or exile? And how can repair processes strengthen our dynamics and communities? \nExpect discussion\, guided reflection\, and practical frameworks you can apply in scenes\, relationships\, and shared spaces. This is not about avoiding mistakes\, it’s about learning how to respond to them with care\, clarity\, and integrity. \nWhat to expect\n\nFrameworks for recognizing different types of rupture (communication breakdowns\, consent issues\, emotional harm)\nTools for pausing\, de-escalating\, and responding in the moment without making things worse\nApproaches to accountability and repair\nExploration of common defensive patterns (avoidance\, blame\, shutdown) and how to move through them\nWays to rebuild trust after things go wrong\n\nWho should join\n\nPeople practicing kink who want to handle mistakes and missteps more skillfully\nTops\, bottoms\, and switches interested in building safer\, more resilient dynamics\nAnyone who has experienced or caused a rupture and wants better tools for repair\nCommunity organizers\, hosts\, teachers\, or facilitators navigating conflict and harm\nThose open to engaging with accountability\, rather than avoiding or outsourcing it

SUMMARY:Practical Reflections on Intentional Kink Space Facilitation
DESCRIPTION:As Kink Space Facilitators\, we experience a wide range of impressions in our work. We plan juicy offers\, trauma and queer inclusive\, and hold space for experiences\, uncertainties\, fuck ups\, desires and much more. After planning and implementation comes reflection and evaluation. The ‘how was I’ as a professional and personally. \nAlexander Hahne\, gay trans man\, trainer and speaker for trans-specific topics in the field of sexual health\, sex educator\, somatic counselor\, sexuality focussed bodyworker\, systemic sex therapist\, dancer and pleasure activist. Leader of workshops and individual counseling on the topics of body awareness\, intimacy and sexuality. He works in the field of sexuality for about 20 years with almost 15 years of facilitation in pleasure and kink spaces. With his work he directly support them in their own experience of the body as well as the possibility of uncovering and using access to their own pleasurable potential. \nWhat happens in the workshop?\nIn this workshop\, we will first put on our oxygen masks and subject our work to a reality check to see how it actually was. \nFor example\, we will address the following questions: \n\nWhich methods worked really well and why?\nDid the planning of your trauma-informed process have the desired effect during implementation?\nWere there situations in which you felt uncertain or overwhelmed? What did you do then? What could be different next time?\nWhich methods did you use and why? What worked\, what didn’t and why?\n\nYes\, there is always too little time and the physical space is different than expected… how do you deal with that? How does that affect your stress level and facilitation? \nThe approach is to separate your behaviour from you as a person. You as a person are highly valued and your behaviour is criticised. \nNote\nThis offering connects to and extends Ceci Ferox’s workshops Intentional Kink Space Facilitation and Intentional Kink Spaces: Structures and Organizing. You can purchase the recordings in our shop. If you did not have the opportunity to be part of these classes\, we are offering the recordings for you to purchase as well. The recordings will be available until July 16th\, 2026. This is optional\, not mandatory. If you were part of one or both of these workshops\, you can email us and get free access to the recordings again\, if you purchase a ticket to this class.

SUMMARY:Cuddles\, Cakes and Kinks - Summer Edition (with Garden!)
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Cuddles\, Cakes and Kinks\, your monthly aftercare event to take a break from cisheteropatriarchy\, capitalism\, the burning world\, or life in general. We’re here to rest so we can resist\, to play as an antidote to pressure\, and to let the people eat cake. Queer people\, welcome! \nWe are opening our wonderful house for the evening so you can come by\, relax\, and calm down amongst other queer people. There will be hammocks and little areas for cuddling and enjoying touch. Get or give massages. Do some soft\, slow kink. Or hang out in the kitchen with us and just chat. We will be baking a bunch of cakes and there will be coffee\, tea\, and snacks to nourish your bodies and souls. \nLight and slow kink interactions are welcome. Anything that allows you to come back to yourself and into connection with others in a soft and nice way. This is not a play party or sex club\, but a playful community event. The vibe is cozy\, and we don’t do genital play. \nThere is a separate cuddle room that is completely free from any kind of play\, horny vibes\, and nudity. It’s for cuddles\, naps\, quiet conversation\, maybe reading a book. \n\n

SUMMARY:Radical Inclusion
DESCRIPTION:The world can often feel divided and exclusionary. What would it mean to turn that on its head? This workshop explores how we can actively include ourselves and others\, while acknowledging the real need for both inclusive and separatist spaces. \nTogether\, we will examine the barriers that create exclusion—such as access\, power dynamics\, and social norms—and explore practical ways to respond to them. The focus is on finding a balance between collective needs and individual experiences\, and reimagining what truly supportive spaces can look like. \nLed by Caritia\, this session offers a space for reflection\, discussion\, and collaborative thinking. Participants will be invited to design and imagine the kinds of groups and environments they would want to be part of\, while developing tools to meaningfully include difference and diversity for the benefit of all. \nWhat we’ll cover\n\n\nWhat “radical inclusion” means in practice \n\n\nThe role of exclusion: boundaries\, safety\, and separatist spaces \n\n\nIdentifying barriers to inclusion (access\, identity\, power) \n\n\nBalancing individual needs with group dynamics \n\n\nDesigning spaces you would actually want to belong to \n\n\nPractical strategies for including difference and diversity

SUMMARY:BIPOC Utopias: Ace & Aro
DESCRIPTION:This month\, we will offer space to discuss what it is to be Ace and/or Aro\, as a BIPOC individual. Covering what these words/terms mean and diving into how we can support ourselves and others from a play context. \nThis is a monthly separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on how to encourage and inspire more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering for BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice\, and support one another through a community actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit.

SUMMARY:Karada House Queer Summer Party
DESCRIPTION:Our “new” space is already turning three (!!) so we’re having a queer little summer party about it. \nCome hang out\, dance\, play games\, eat daddy Antje’s sausages\, lie in a cuddle puddle\, make new friends\, avoid eye contact with the new friends\, and generally exist together in a nice way. It’s a sober space\, but still very much a party. \nThis is for LGBTQIA+ folks – extroverts\, introverts\, socially anxious cuties\, people who say “I’ll only stay for one hour” and then don’t leave. You can be in the middle of everything or tucked away somewhere cozy. Both are correct. \nThere’s no pressure to do anything in particular — just drift between things and see what feels good. \nWe’ll also have a clothing swap\, so bring stuff you don’t wear anymore and maybe leave as a slightly different person. There will be a crafts and games room\, so bring your summer crochets and art projects to work on in company. \nSpaces:\n\nkitchen + mezzanine: snacks\, alcohol-free drinks for sale\, soft socializing\nmain room: dancing\, social games\, performances\, a cuddle area (!!)\ncorner room: crafty queers + board games + gentle\, quiet(er) vibes\ngarden (if weather behaves): BBQ\, clothing swap & freebox\, lying on the grass\n(if not\, we simply bring “outside energy” inside)\n\nProgram\n14.00 Doors open \n14.30 Social Games & Facilitated Dance Party with Ceci Ferox\nAwkward is today’s word\, and we will embrace it. Waddle like a penguin\, or let the spirit of our house octopus plushie guide your moves. The weirder\, the better. Also maybe learn (and forget) some people’s names? We don’t know\, but this is for all the introverts who don’t know how to people (and the extroverts who want to adopt us… eh\, them). \n15.30 Trans* Choir Plänterwald (TCP’22)\n“We are Berlin’s powerful choir\, featuring original arrangements for trans*\, non-binary\, and inter* voices. With a blend of fun retro hits and contemporary pop songs\, we create a space for openness\, visibility\, and community. Our repertoire is as diverse as we are: at times loud and defiant\, at others gentle and moving—but always authentic. Our goal: a safe space to discover one’s own voice and grow together.” \n16-18 Hanging out & Pop-up performances: \n\nCommunity Tarot Reading with Caritia\nCaritia is a Berlin-based kink activist\, shibari educator\, and co-founder of Karada House and OhYesPlease.org. Caritia’s art stems from a desire to advocate and support others to explore intentionally and intersectionally the boundaries around their bodies\, sexuality and self-expression.\nSurprise Performance with Quentin Crisper and Peppi The Brutalist Panda\nUrban nature scout\, radical faerie\, playmate and adhd-prince\, based in Berlin Quentin Crisper explores the world\nthrough bodywork\, sex work and art. Quentin aims to be a constant invitation for people to explore the strange\, the intimate\, the magical and the longings and desires in the unspoken spaces in between.  — Daydreaming\, awkward\, and hot. SUMMARY:Kink is Political: Accountability
DESCRIPTION:In our last session before a short summer break\, we’ll turn towards the concept of “accountability.”  In conversation with Pinko’s published volume After Accountability: A Critical Genealogy of a Concept\, we’ll trace the history and limitations of a value commonly professed by kink educators and organizations. We’ll work to understand the terms widespread popularization and adoption\, theoretical context\, and use within policy and incident response policies within kink and sex positive spaces. We’ll ask: what does it mean to be held accountable? Who is empowered and disempowered by the concept of accountability? Who does the concept disenfranchise\, and what model of human psychology and experience do popular versions of the concept of accountability propose?  \nAbout this series\nKink is Political is an online discussion with Addie Tahl\, Georg Barkas\, Andrea Rimon\, and occasional special guests. Participants are invited to join a discussion during which we unite critique with an emphasis on the practical and day-to-day issues and challenges of kink\, intimacy\, and relationships. \nFocusing on concepts central to BDSM\, leather\, rope\, and sex-positive communities\, it interrogates widely adopted approaches and commonly held notions. It aims to understand the politics of kink beyond the language of sexual liberation and politics of sexual liberalism\, both frames that have proven insufficient in addressing widespread harm\, a rising international tide of sex-negativity and reaction\, or in guaranteeing that the most marginalized can sexually flourish. \nKink is Political is an examination of the contexts and consequences of how we talk about and understand gender and sexuality. It is a forum to think about how kink spaces and practices operate\, what works\, what doesn’t\, and what we can use to build something better.

SUMMARY:The Fat Rope Hang
DESCRIPTION:This is a space dedicated to everyone self-identifying as fat who’s into shibari or other types of rope bondage. We will luxuriate\, rant\, do rope\, and just generally engage in revolutionary action. \nTogether\, we’ll center fat joy\, fat bodies\, and fat experience in rope — without apology and without shrinking ourselves. This gathering prioritizes comfort\, accessibility\, and unmasking\, with an emphasis on sharing knowledge\, building confidence\, and unlearning the ways mainstream rope spaces often exclude or overlook us. \nWhat will happen?\nThe Fat Rope Hang is not a class or performance space. It’s a facilitated hang where you’re welcome to: \n\nTie or be tied at your own pace\nShare frustrations\, wins\, and questions about navigating rope as a fat person\nExperiment\, rest\, watch\, talk\, or simply exist in community\nCelebrate adaptations\, creativity\, and what works for your body\n\nAll skill levels are welcome. You do not need to arrive with a partner\, a plan\, or a specific goal. Consent\, communication\, and care (for yourself and others) are core values of this space. You can bring a non-fat rope partner with you. \nThe Fat Rope Hang is about visibility\, connection\, and pleasure in taking up space. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. Let your body be part of the revolution.

SUMMARY:Showing Up: Skills for Facing Conflict
DESCRIPTION:We all have conflicts. With ourselves\, with our loved ones and our collaborators\, as well as social and political ones. We often perceive the very concept of conflict as negative\, and we are not often taught methods to face it. However\, it can also be an opportunity to get to know ourselves and others while finding out what needs to be witnessed\, improved\, or transformed. It is a call to show up for ourselves\, our loved ones and our community. \nIn this workshop\, Emilian and Barbara invite you to practice essential skills to face conflict\, one step at a time. The first step is to listen to ourselves. The second\, to listen to others. And finally\, to share our truth while showing care and respect for everybody involved. \nWhat we will do:\n\n\nGround ourselves when we feel triggered\, overwhelmed or numb \n\n\nIdentify and witness what you feel and need \n\n\nUse active listening in order to understand where others are coming from \n\n\nExpress yourself truthfully and mindfully during conflict \n\n\nThis class is for anyone who wants to:\n\n\nApproach conflict differently \n\n\nPractice being in touch with their emotions \n\n\nImprove their capacity to be gentle with themselves \n\n\nLearn new communication techniques \n\n\nUse these skills to strengthen community and relationships in their lives

SUMMARY:BIPOC Utopias - Play & the Black Experience
DESCRIPTION:We will continue to discuss Arron Trammell’s paper and now book ‘Play\, Trauma and the Black Experience’\, as it holds many nuances. \nThis is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nWhat we will do\nDiscuss what does this mean to/for us? And how we each wish to engage in the various practices that populate these

SUMMARY:Kink is Political: Suffering
DESCRIPTION:This Easter month\, we’ll interrogate the Christian underpinnings of kink and BDSM aesthetics by turning towards the concept of “suffering.” We will read Emannuel Levinas’ essay “Useless Suffering” alongside discussions of seme in Japanese rope bondage. We’ll ask: what are the political implications of connecting beauty\, meaning\, and suffering? What would a tying\, kink\, or BDSM practice look like that takes a starting point that suffering has no intrinsic meaning or value?

SUMMARY:Queer Spring Rituals
DESCRIPTION:This is a weekend of queer community\, play\, and ritual. Each day has a theme – from pain to cuddles to an orgy – and consists of workshops to warm up\, a communal meal\, and a long play party. You can join for one day\, two days\, or the whole weekend. \nCommunal rituals and play\nAs queer people\, we often move through life without having access\, time or the headspace for communal rituals that mark change\, growth\, or seasonal transition. Queer Spring Rituals is an intimate\, queers only\, space to reclaim that.  \nOver three days\, we’ll honor the Spring Equinox by moving through the themes of cleansing\, grounding and fertility\, mirroring the earth’s turning outward. \nEach day has a specific theme: \n\nFriday: Cleansing & Release through Pain and BDSM\nSaturday: Relaxing and Grounding through Touch\, Cuddles and Sensuality\nSunday: Building Fertile Energy through a little bit of an Orgy\n\nEach day offers:\n\n✨ Workshopping the day’s themes together – learning skills and making plans\n🍲 A shared communal lunch\n🎭 A collective and boundary conscious play party \nThis is a playful space for queer\, kinky bodies and queer\, kinky hearts to connect\, release\, explore\, and prepare for a period of light — together. \n  \nFriday\, April 3rd: Cleansing and Releasing through Pain and BDSM\nThis first day of the queer spring rituals weekend is all about releasing the energy of the winter and getting your body ready for spring. During the day\, we will focus on ideas central to queer kink: We will demo and offer ideas on how to use pervertables\, show impact play/pain play techniques\, and create some space where people can plan their rituals. The evening will be all about pain\, impact play\, and BDSM\, being loud and releasing all the tensions and emotions from your body. \nWhat to bring:  any materials you could imagine using as kink toys: (ethically sourced) twigs and flowers\, bike inner tyres\, kitchen utensils\, boots too broken to repair\, shoehorns… you get the idea! \nMinimum Knowledge Level: none \nSchedule: \n12-15.30 Pervertables\, pain play techniques\, and planning your ritual and play\n15.30-17 Shared lunch (included in the ticket)\n17-22 Slooooow kink play party \nSaturday\, April 4th: Relaxing and Grounding through Touch\, Cuddles and Sensuality\nThis second day of the queer spring rituals weekend is focused on grounding and connecting to yourself and others. We will explore different senses – touch\, smell\, taste\, hearing\, and sight – solo\, partnered\, and in groups. We’ll get in touch with our vulnerability and emotions\, understanding what touch means to us. This will lead us to a soft evening of cuddles and sensuality. This is an especially ace-friendly day without any genital play. \nWhat to bring: any sensory play toys or objects: blindfolds\, earplugs\, headphones\, candy\, massage oils\, ticklers\, plushies\, blankets\, candles… \nMinimum Knowledge Level: none \nSchedule: \n12-15.30 Exploring touch\, taste\, smell\, sound\, and sight solo\, partnered\, and in groups\n15.30-17 Shared lunch with a sensory explosion (included in the ticket)\n17-22 Touch and cuddle party \nSunday\, April 5th: Building Fertile Energy through a little bit of an Orgy\nThis final day of the queer spring rituals weekend is centered on building fertile energy in yourself and in relation to others. We will do multiple exercises that will guide you toward understanding your desires\, negotiating with others\, and releasing unwanted inhibitions.  \nWe will touch\, moan\, tease\, negotiate\, confess our desires\, and figure out alternative ways to have an orgy. The orgy is not focused on (only) genitals and sex\, and we invite you to use your imagination to create the group play of your dreams. We will provide safer sex tools. \nPlease note that to keep the vibe of the orgy more connected and secure\, we require everyone to attend at least one of the previous days. \nWhat to bring: anything you need for an orgy: toys\, a towel\, rope\, clothes you look hot in\, your favorite lube\, massage oil\, mouthwash… use your imagination! \nMinimum Knowledge Level: none \nSchedule:\n12-15.30 Warming up for the orgy through multiple exercises and games\n15.30-17 Shared lunch (included in ticket)\n17-22 A little bit of an orgy \nNote: It is not possible to join the Sunday program if you have not been present for at least one other day of Queer Spring Rituals.

SUMMARY:Snuggles and Story Time
DESCRIPTION:Let’s slow down together and end the week/welcome the weekend with some soft body contact and co-regulation. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re an experienced cuddle slut or curious about how to cuddle with people you don’t know\, this session will provide some gentle guidance into a cozy cuddle puddle. We’ll double down on the coziness with a quiet storytime from a queer children’s book in which nothing bad ever really happens. \n\n\n\nTo make this a safe and comfortable space for more people\, this event is non-sexual and we want to be careful about the ways in which it will interact with our senses. With this in mind\, please wear soft\, comfortable clothing and refrain from wearing any fragrances. You’ll be asked at the start of the session to remove glasses\, jewelry\, and things from your pockets that might not be comfortable for others to be in sustained contact with. \n\n\n\nHow it works\n\n\n\n\nNerdy chat about cuddling for co-regulation rather than foreplay\n\n\n\nMore nerdy chat about cuddling with people you don’t know\n\n\n\nExamples of consent in a cuddle puddle\n\n\n\nGentle guidance into the cuddle puddle\n\n\n\nStorytime\n\n\n\nCuddling in silence or with soft music\n\n\n\nGentle guidance out of the cuddle puddle\n\n\n\nOptional sharing/integration time

SUMMARY:Kink is Political - Ambiguity
DESCRIPTION:Kink is Political is an online discussion with Addie Tahl\, Georg Barkas\, Andrea Rimon\, and occasional special guests. Participants are invited to join a discussion during which we unite critique with an emphasis on the practical and day-to-day issues and challenges of kink\, intimacy\, and relationships. \n\n\n\nFocusing on concepts central to BDSM\, leather\, rope\, and sex-positive communities\, it interrogates widely adopted approaches and commonly held notions. \n\n\n\nKink is Political is an examination of the contexts and consequences of how we talk about and understand gender and sexuality. It is a forum to think about how kink spaces and practices operate\, what works\, what doesn’t\, and what we can use to build something better. \n\n\n\nThis month’s topic: Ambiguity\nIn March’s session\, we’ll turn towards our experience of “ambiguity.” Against approaches to sex and kink that forefront clarity and transparency\, we’ll think through what value ambiguity has and what the active production and appreciation of ambiguity might bring to the table. Looking towards both the literary critical and our experiences of the everyday\, we’ll weigh the problems and poetic affordances that ambiguity presents in a culture so deeply concerned about security and liability mitigation.

SUMMARY:Love is More than Romance
DESCRIPTION:Caritia is offering this guided discussion and workshop based on a poem written for CARNE – a group piece performed with Gruppo Oito in 2024. The poem speaks to and of the intersectional nature of love as an action\, inspired by Bell Hooks. \n“The word ‘love’ is most often defined as a noun\, yet we would all love better if we used it as a verb\,” – bell hooks \nParticipants are invited to join this discourse on what love is for you. The many ways in which it can be expressed and (re)discovering intentional ways to allow all kinds of love into our lives as an act of revolution\, resistance and care. \nPull up a chair\, lay in your bed or create yourself a nest\, let’s commune together.
